“T-t-too close! He's too close! I can feel my heart pounding from my chest! This is bad! If he heard it, he will ask me and I won't know what to answer him! I-I-I have to g-get down!” she thought, her face flush with embarrassment.

The two were locked to each other faces. Both feeling the same emotions.

“What are you two doing? Let's go, Elizabeth is waiting for us,” Ciel said, breaking the moment and bringing them back to reality.

Sebastian cleared his throat, breaking the tension, and Isabella looked away, feeling a flush of embarrassment. It was a moment they both knew they needed to move on from.

Ciel and Sebastian went out of the study, with Sebastian carrying Isabella in his arms. It was an unusual sight, but they proceeded towards the ballroom where Elizabeth awaited them.

The three saw the servants dressed in ridiculous costumes. Grell was wearing a white dress, and Elizabeth was wearing her maroon dress, adorned with intricate lace and embellishments. It hugged her figure elegantly, accentuating her grace and poise. She was pestering Mey-Rin to remove her glasses.

Ciel sighed deeply, feeling a mixture of resignation and amusement at the chaotic scene before him.

“That's enough,” Ciel called out, his voice carrying authority as he looked down at them from above the stairs. Everyone's eyes turned towards him.

He was wearing a blue ensemble that exuded a sense of youthful charm. The coat featured intricate embroidery and delicate lace accents, while the trousers were tailored to perfection. Completing the look was a matching bow tie and a small top hat perched jauntily on his head.

“Ciel, you're so cute!” Elizabeth exclaimed with a delighted smile.

Then her eyes landed on the child in Sebastian's arms, with raven-black hair and green eyes. “Who's that?” she inquired, her curiosity piqued.

Ciel forgot to ask Isabella what to answer if she was asked who she is.

“I-I'm K-katheryn!” Isabella stammered in a cute voice, then wrapped her arms around Sebastian's neck, pretending to be embarrassed, just like how a child would act.

Sebastian felt a surge of warmth when he felt how close Isabella was to him. Her lips were near to his neck, sending a shiver down his spine. He struggled to maintain his composure, his heart racing at the proximity between them.

“Oh, hello. Where's Isabella?” Elizabeth inquired, scanning the room for her.

“Tell her that she has to go somewhere. She would buy that lie,” Isabella whispered into Sebastian's ear. Sebastian felt a tingle shoot down his spine, his breath catching at the sensation of her warm breath against his skin. She was making him feel flustered, a sensation he was unaccustomed to.

“A-Archbishop Isabella had to go somewhere,” Sebastian stammered nervously.

“Where?” Elizabeth inquired.

Isabella pressed closer to him, her breath warm against his ear. “To church. Tell her not to worry,” she whispered softly, her voice and breath sending a shiver down his spine.

Sebastian repeated what she said, and Elizabeth accepted it with no further questions. While Elizabeth was admiring Ciel's cuteness, Isabella noticed Sebastian's smell. It was pleasant, like herbs.

“Thank you for that, Sebastian, and by the way, you smell nice,” she remarked as she sniffed his neck. Sebastian felt a blush creep up his cheeks, caught off guard by her comment.

“Give it back!”

They were interrupted when Ciel shouted to Elizabeth about his ring. Elizabeth was mad and suddenly threw the ring on the ground, breaking it. Everyone was stunned into silence, their eyes wide with shock at the sudden outburst.
