"Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own."
― Robert A. Heinlein

(A/N Sneak peak into third year at last)

THIRD PERSON POV

With a chilly, contented smile, Mr. Lucius Malfoy entered Hagrid's hut while wearing a long, black traveling cloak. Fang began to snarl.

"What's that git doing there?" Sirius asked with a disgusted expression on his face.

"Already here, Fudge," he responded with approval. "Well, well,"

"What are you doing here," Hagrid said angrily. "Leave my home now!"Lucius Malfoy scowled as he surveyed the little shack, "My dear man, please believe me, I have no pleasure at all in being inside your — er — do you call this a house? When I just contacted the school, I was informed that the headmaster was present here"

"And to say he belongs from a prestigious family" Briony scoffed rolling her eyes. "Getting much confident now are we scamander?" Lucius smirked at her, "I was sorted in gryffindor for a reason malfoy" The brunette said staring at him with raised brows.

Dumbledore said, "And what specifically did you want with me, Lucius?" The fire in his blue eyes was still flashing while he spoke respectfully. Malfoy slouched pulled out a lengthy roll of parchment and murmured,

"Dreadful thing, Dumbledore, However, the governors believe that it is time for you to retire. There are all twelve signatures on this Order of Suspension. We fear that you are losing your touch. How many attacks have occurred so far? Wasn't there two more this afternoon? We all know what a terrible loss it would be for Hogwarts if Muggle-born students were to cease to exist at this rate."

"What the f*ck?" Everyone looked at lucius with anger in their eyes. Would he go that low to prove himself.

"Oh, now, see here, Lucius," said Fudge, looking alarmed, "Dumbledore suspended —no, no — last thing we want just now."

"The appointment — or suspension — of the headmaster is a matter for the governors,Fudge," said Mr. Malfoy smoothly. "And as Dumbledore has failed to stop these attacks—"

"See here, Malfoy, if Dumbledore can't stop them," said Fudge, whose upper lip was sweating now, "I mean to say, who can?"

Come on you're supposed to be the minister of magic, you can command anything you want" Sirius said agitated

He strode to the cabin door, opened it and bowed Dumbledore out. Fudge, fiddling with his bowler, waited for Hagrid to go ahead of him, but Hagrid stood his ground, took a deep breath and said carefully, "If anyone wanted ter find out some stuff, all they'd have ter do would be ter follow the spiders. That'd lead 'em right! That's all I'm sayin"

"He's dropping off hints isn't he?" Rabastan muttered to which regulus nodded.

"All right, I'm comin', said Hagrid, pulling on his moleskin overcoat. But as he was about to follow Fudge through the door, he stopped again and said loudly, "An' someone'll need ter feed Fang while I'm away."

The door banged shut and Ron pulled off the Invisibility Cloak. "We're in trouble now," Ron said hoarsely. "No Dumbledore. They might as well close the school tonight. There'll be an attack a day with him gone." Fang started howling, scratching at the closed door.
