THIRD PERSON POV 

The squad was present in one corner of the Gryffindor common room. James was sitting with Remus on the two-seat armchair. Briony was seated on the end of the couch on which Sirius was sprawled out upside down, his feet dangling on the headrest and head on the floor. Lily was sitting on the floor resting her head against Briony's leg while Peter was dozed off in a corner. 

"So many things happened and we still don't know where are the rest of us" Remus sighed closing his arithmancy book. "These books were sent so we could change the future, We still have six books remaining, we have to see what mistakes we made and have to repent them," Briony said staring at the fire burning in the fireplace. 

"Evans, would you like to go out with me?" James asked looking at Lily whose face was glowing due to the fire's lightning. She turned to look towards him, her green eyes filled with sparks of ember stared at his hazel eyes. "Sure" She whispered turning to read her book again. 

James smiled softly staring at his lap and then at the ceiling. "Padfoot, you don't have to say anything?" Remus asked sirius who kept staring at the fire without even blinking his eyes. 

"I am feeling hungry" He whispered looking at Remus who rolled his eyes. "Is that why you kept staring at the fire? It's not gonna bring you food padfoot" James said shaking his head. 

Sirius sighed getting up and sitting properly on the sofa. "Bry let's go to bed it's getting late" Lily said getting up from the floor. "Lily flower wait for some time, let's just chill out" James said stretching his arms above his head. 

"It's getting late, besides we have classes tomorrow" Lily said going towards her dorms. Briony sighed getting up from the sofa but before she could move Sirius held her hand and made her sit on her place before lying down resting his head on her lap. 

"I've held your friend captive evans, will you leave her alone?" He snickered staring at Lily who turned around glaring at him. Briony raised her brows at him. "Get up Black" She said trying to remove his head but he wouldn't budge. "Fine don't cry when you fall off" Briony said rolling her eyes ready to get up, but the black haired had different plans. 

He turned encircling his hands around her waist tightly, hugging her .  "Come on evans, you can sit beside me if you want" James winked at her getting down and sitting on the floor against the sofa. Lily sighed shaking her head, but finally sitting down next to james resting her head against her shoulders. 

"You all are making me feel single" Remus whine pouting. "No one's in a relationship here rem" Briony pointed out crossing her arms over her chest glaring down at the sleeping man on her lap. 

"Yet" Remus whispered smiling to himself. He closed his eyes and leaned back against the arm chair. 

"James I'm feeling sleepy" Lily said yawning her eyes dropping. "You can sleep here if you want" But he wasn't suggesting it, he was saying it as he swung his arms around her shoulders as she snuggled into him. 

Briony stared smiling at her best friend. She knew James was a good boy and would be perfect for lily, but lily never gave a chance to him. But these books surely had a change, besides even if the books didn't came, Birony was sure Lily started to develop some feelings for the bespectacled boy during her fifth year. 

She then stared at Remus and peter who sleeping peacefully on the small couches as if it was the most comfortable thing in the world. Then her eyes flickered to the black haired beauty sleeping on her lap. She first rolled her eyes but then smiled at him too. The boy had gone through so much, she appreciated him for being so lively and positive, even if he suffered from inside.
