THIRD PERSON POV
Adalyn and Arilene followed Professor McGonagall, as she took them to her office and went inside instructing them to wait for a few minutes. "What does the professor want from us?" Adalyn asked looking at Arilene with nervousness.
"I don't know, let's wait and see" It was after ten minutes when the professor came
"Miss.Rudolf, please come and sit here, "Professor said and motioned Arilene to sit opposite to her seat. "Yes professor, Did I do something"? Arilene asked nervously. "No miss.Rudolf, I wanted to ask you about your arrangements for summer vacation as you can't go back to the orphanage"
"The kids who stay at the orphanage can't go back there?" Remus asked from professor McGonagall who shook her head. "We basically adopt those kids from there so that no more people would get to know, so the child can't go back there"
"Then where do they stay?" Sirius quipped in between. "We have some special arrangements for them here at hogwarts"
"But professor I don't have any relatives that I am aware of, where will I stay?" Arilene asked casting her eyes downwards. Adalyn looked at bestfriend with sadness, only if matters at home were good she would have been able to help her.
"As for that I have decided You will stay at my house" Professor replied.
Professor McGonagall's eyes widened at this. She is allowing a student to stay at her house? How and why? "Woah minnie I am offended, you never even offered us to visit your house" Sirius jutted out his lower lip looking at McGonagall. "Yeah us too professor" Marlene whispered staring at her wide eyed.
Arilene and Adalyn's eye widened at this. Professor McGonagall was offering her to stay at her house? Adalyn rubbed her eyes and pinched her arm to check if it was a dream or reality. "P-pr-roffesor Are you sure?" Arilene asked stuttering from the extreme shock.
"Of course miss.Rudolf I don't say anything without being sure." Professor replied. "I-I Thank you so much Professor," Arilene said "Welcome arilene and now you both may go to your common room," Professor said and shooed them.
The both girls went out of professor's office towards their common room. "Can you actually believe it? Professor McGonagall offered me to stay at her house?" Arilene asked turning to Adalyn with a grin on her face. "Believe? I thought it was all a dream" The black haired laughed, Arilene joining her.
"This happened the same time the other three went to fight Quirrell right?" Sirius asked to which Briony nodded her head. "Yeah here they both were with mcgonagall and the three were there in the trap door"
The next morning
Arilene woke up early than usual. She yawned getting out of her bed and saw Adalyn sleeping peacefully, She slowly creped my way out of her dorm and sat on the couch near the window. She rested her head against the windows and closed her eyes when suddenly the door opened, she frowned and turned around and saw Ron and Hermione
