THIRD PERSON POV
"You know, I am proud of my son" The group was again crowded in one corner of the common room, gushing about the second year within themselves. "I know right, they all are just awesome, they'll make good Aurors too," Sirius said nodding his head.
"They're still in their second year" Briony said rolling her eyes as sirius looked at her with raised brows, "And? You can appreciate talent whenever you see it"
"Yeah Mr. philosopher. You can be the next dumbledore" She snickered causing him to look at her horrified. "As much as I respect Dumbledore, this is downright outrageous"
"What's wrong with Dumbledore?" Peter quipped munching on an apple while sitting beside James who had his arms resting on his shoulder. "What's right about him?" Remus whispered rolling his eyes. "He literally left my son on the doorstep on a freezing night" James exclaimed ruffling his hair making it more messier.
"He left the school whenever something dangerous happened" Sirius pointed out causing everyone to nod.
"Lily you wanna go out for fresh air?" Briony asked suddenly getting up from her place. "I actually wanted to complete my potions homework before going to sleep bry" Lily said apologetically.
"Oh it's alright, I'll meet you in the dorm then, see you lot" She said going out of the common room. If someone told her that she'll be reading about the traumatizing experiences of her friend's children from future, she would have called them an idiot. But well, time changes everything, doesn't it?
She walked out on the quidditch field, the field was empty as curfew would start soon and everyone appreciated not to get into detention, but staying with the marauders, detention was not that big of a threat for her. She actually enjoyed her time with the boys. They were her friends, family for all she could say.
She knew James since they were children, their fathers having worked together for a short span of time, but they often visited each other and exchanged gifts during christmas and after being sorted into the same house, their bond just grew and they were the siblings to each other that neither of them had.
Well Briony had an elder sister, but... some relationships are well off said. "Why is a sheep roaming around alone in the dark night?" Suddenly she heard someone's voice from behind her causing her to turn back and draw out her wand.
"Oh don't insult the poor girl bella, she prefers called being a lion" Another voice said and when Briony saw who they were, she gritted her teeth glaring at them.
Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange and of course her dear sister, Rubia Carrow (nee scamander).
"A lion? Seems like a frightened little kitten to me" Bellatrix laughed drawing out her wand and tracing her own cheekbones with it and eyeing the gryfindor like a prey.
Briony glanced at her sister and saw her standing behind nonchalantly as if it mattered nothing to her. "What do you want?" She asked looking at the two with sharp eyes causing them to snicker and look at each other.
"Why little scamander? Don't have your cheeky boy friends to protect you now? Why isn't your tongue sputtering nonsense like an hour ago? Where did that gryfindor courage vanish?" Bellatrix drawled out looking at her with a smirk.
"Please bella there should be some courage to begin with, for it to vanish, this little b*tch here was flying high knowing she has support from behind, but what now? All alone in dark, of course she's scared" Lucius scoffed.
"Why scamander? What will you do in future? Still rely on your pretty boyfriend?"
"Come on bella, her chick shouldeven survive to support her, he landed up with that mudblood and got blown"
