Cole nodded, his gaze moving over her. She was wearing a pair of jeans and a tank top this morning. She was very attractive, though not quite on the level when she was naked. Bond or not, he found her quite beautiful. "Is it possible for me to feel the bond on some level?"

She looked at him in surprise. "Why?"

He shrugged. "I've felt like there is some connection between us since I've met you."

She looked a bit surprised by that. "Cade might know, but I have no idea."

He nodded watching her approach him. He wanted to kiss her again. He held back though, and then asked himself why he was. She was his mate. It was just odd because he didn't feel the bond with her, though he was still attracted to her. "I dreamed of you," he said softly without thinking.

Her eyes widened in surprise. "Last night?"

Cole gave in at that point. He hadn't meant to mention the dream, but then again, if she really was his mate, what did it matter? He walked over to her, stopping within inches of her. "No, the night before. I didn't know what you looked like either until you stepped up to challenge Harrison. But I didn't realize it was you in my dream until Jaxon pointed it out. I was a bit preoccupied with everything that happened yesterday."

"Who's Jaxon?" Kyra asked him.

"My wolf," he said, then closed the distance between them and dropped his lips to hers.

Her body immediately softened and she relaxed into him.

Cole wrapped his arms around her. He was still having a bit of a hard time believing all of this was true. He knew it would truly sink in when he felt the bond with her. He tipped her chin up. "No panic attacks today. If you feel one coming on, link me. Alpha." He threw the last part in as an after thought, realizing he was giving her orders and she might not like it. He didn't know her well enough.

She smiled at him. "Yes, Sir."

He grinned at her, and then dropped a soft kiss on her lips before he let go of her.

Kyra walked over to the door and Cole followed her out. She stopped and waited for him, then they headed down the hall together, down the steps and over towards the Alpha's office. Cole opened the door for Kyra, then followed her inside.

The big grin on both Cade's and Gabe's faces told Cole that they both already knew. He glanced at Kyra and saw that her cheeks were a lovely shade of pink.

"Well, I have to say, I'm disappointed to lose you, Cole, but I'm really happy for you," Gabe said.

"Thanks, Gabe."

"Which means we have to figure out who you're going to take as your Beta and your Gamma, Gabe," Cade said, his gaze moving to Kyra.

She nodded to him. She was so glad he was with her. She wasn't usually distracted like this when they were at a pack. Usually she was complete focused and on her game. Of course she'd never had a panic attack before either. Her gaze darted over to Cole. He'd be able to become a liaison with her now. She'd have to train him, but that wouldn't be difficult. Something else for them to talk about.

"Carson," Cole suggested.

"For Gamma, I think," Gabe agreed.

"He's one of our best warriors and a good leader with the others," Cole said. "He wanted to talk to me yesterday and I completely forgot about it." He looked at Kyra and she gave him a small smile.

"What about the Beta?" Kyra asked.

Cole and Gabe exchanged glances, both of them quiet.

"What about Dawson?" Cole asked.
