This is not normally something I'd do but, because there's some confusion and a lot of characters, let me just clarify a few things.

First of Cade and Kyra are NOT related.

Kyra is a Remington, descended straight down the line from Caleb.

Natalia and Dominic are her aunt and uncle, and Dimitri is her cousin.

Cade is descended from Talia and James, through Matthew. Matthew (and Cade) has Ragnar's last name since Ragnar adopted him and raised him.

There is no crossover between the Remington Family and the Asgrim Family except for Daniel and Jenna's son Oliver and Ragnar and Talia's daughter Aubrey. Aubrey would be Cade's great aunt.

No I have not mentioned Cade's parents at any point in this series so far, so don't think you've missed them because you haven't. I haven't even mentioned them in his book yet.

And if you're wondering what Cade looks like: Blond Hair, blue eyes, tattoos and he rides a motorcycle.

Hopefully that clears up any confusion. I try to mostly refer back to the same characters because with 13 books, it makes it less confusing.

Second, no Cole doesn't feel the bond at all with Kyra. Unless he joins the pack, he and Kyra will never be mates. She would either have to reject him or wait until he dies to break the bond. But she knows he's her mate, so she's going to feel that need to mark him eventually.

Cole is obviously suspicious, and aware that there's some sort of connection between them. He just doesn't know that it is possible for him to have a second chance.

So Kyra either has to tell him up front or convince him to leave the pack he has known his entire life and join hers.
