The next morning, Lyanna barely had time to gather her books for class before Draco cornered her in the hallway, his face a mixture of frustration and concern. He grabbed her arm and pulled her into an empty classroom.

"Draco, what are you—" Lyanna began, but Draco cut her off.

"Stop hanging around those troublesome Gryffindors, Lyanna," he hissed, his grip tightening. "Do you have any idea what kind of trouble they're getting into?"

Lyanna frowned, pulling her arm free. "What are you talking about?"

"I saw you last night," Draco said, his voice low and urgent. "I followed you all to Hagrid's hut. I reported them to McGonagall."

Lyanna's eyes widened in shock. "You did what?"

Draco's expression softened slightly, a flicker of concern in his eyes. "I didn't mention you, Lyanna. I didn't want you to get into trouble. But Harry, Ron, and Hermione... they spent detention with Hagrid in the Forbidden Forest last night."

Lyanna's heart sank. "Detention in the Forbidden Forest?" she echoed. "But why?"

"Because Hagrid had a dragon," Draco said, his voice dripping with disdain. "A dragon, Lyanna! That's highly illegal."

The news hit her like a punch to the gut. Hagrid losing Norbert was bad enough, but the thought of her friends in detention in the dangerous Forbidden Forest made her feel sick with worry. "So Hagrid lost Norbert?" she asked quietly, her eyes downcast.

Draco nodded, his expression softening even more as he saw the distress on his sister's face. "Yes. McGonagall made him send the dragon away. I'm sorry, Lyanna, but it was for the best."

Lyanna bit her lip, trying to hold back tears. "I know you're trying to protect me, Draco, but they're my friends. I can't just abandon them."

Draco's face hardened again. "They're trouble, Lyanna. And they'll drag you down with them if you're not careful."

She shook her head, determined. "They're good people, Draco. You don't know them like I do."

Draco sighed, running a hand through his platinum hair. "Just be careful, okay? I don't want to see you get hurt."

Lyanna nodded, touched by his concern despite their differences. "I will. Thank you for not mentioning me to McGonagall."

"Of course," Draco said, his voice softening again. "You're my sister. I have to look out for you."

With that, he turned and walked away, leaving Lyanna standing alone in the empty classroom, her mind racing with thoughts of her friends and the dangerous paths they seemed to be on.

Later that day, she caught up with Harry, Ron, and Hermione in the courtyard. They were huddled together, looking tired but relieved.

"Are you all okay?" Lyanna asked, her voice filled with concern.

Harry nodded, his eyes serious. "We're fine. The Forbidden Forest was... well, let's just say it was an experience."

Ron shuddered. "An experience I never want to repeat."

Hermione glanced at Lyanna, her eyes narrowing slightly. "We didn't see you last night. Where did you go?"

Lyanna hesitated for a moment before answering. "Draco found me. He was worried and dragged me back to the castle."

Harry's expression softened. "He reported us, didn't he?"

Lyanna nodded. "Yes, but he didn't mention me. I'm sorry about Norbert."

Hagrid's loss weighed heavily on all of them, and for a moment, they stood in silent solidarity, each lost in their thoughts.

"It's okay," Harry finally said, his voice determined. "We have to keep moving forward."

Lyanna nodded, grateful for their resilience and friendship. As the days went on, she couldn't shake the feeling that the bonds they were forming would be crucial in the challenges yet to come. And while she felt the sting of Draco's disapproval, she knew she couldn't turn her back on the friends who had become her second family.

Lyanna spent the rest of the day lost in thought, her mind constantly drifting back to Norbert and the awe she felt in the dragon's presence. The memory of the dragon's scales glittering in the firelight and the heat of the flames that didn't burn her skin stayed with her, nagging at the edges of her consciousness. Determined to understand more about her strange immunity to fire, she headed to the library, intent on finding answers.

She poured over every book she could find on dragons, fire magic, and magical immunities. The pages of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" provided detailed descriptions of various dragon species, but nothing about immunity to their flames. "Magical Immunities and Anomalies" offered some insights into rare magical traits but didn't mention anything like what she experienced. Frustrated but not ready to give up, she continued her research, burying herself in book after book.

Later that evening, Hermione found her in the library, surrounded by towering stacks of books. "Still researching dragons and fire?" Hermione asked, sitting down across from Lyanna.

Lyanna nodded, sighing. "I can't find anything. It's like no one in the magical world has ever been immune to fire."

Hermione gave her a thoughtful look. "You know, I once read a Muggle book series that had characters with immunity to fire, though it was fiction. It's called 'A Song of Ice and Fire.' Have you heard of it?"

Lyanna shook her head. "No, I haven't. But I'm willing to try anything at this point."

Hermione smiled and reached into her bag, pulling out a worn copy of the first book in the series, "A Game of Thrones." "Here, you can borrow this. The author, George R.R. Martin, created a very detailed world, and one of the characters has a unique relationship with fire."

Taking the book, Lyanna looked at the cover with curiosity. "Thank you, Hermione. Maybe it'll give me some new ideas."

As Lyanna read the book later that evening, she was struck by the character Daenerys Targaryen. The silver hair, the violet eyes, the immunity to fire—these were all traits that mirrored her own. The similarities were uncanny, almost as if Daenerys was a reflection of herself. She couldn't help but feel a strange connection to the character, but she reminded herself that it was just a story, a work of fiction. It couldn't possibly have any real bearing on her life.

The next day, as she walked to her classes, she couldn't help but think about the parallels between her life and Daenerys'. Both of them were trying to understand their place in the world, both had a connection to dragons, and both were searching for answers about their pasts. The resemblance in their physical appearance—silver hair and violet eyes—was too striking to ignore, but Lyanna dismissed it as a coincidence. After all, it was impossible for a fictional character to be connected to her reality.

With renewed determination, Lyanna resolved to continue her studies, not just in magic but also in the histories and stories that might hold the key to understanding her own unique powers. Even if the answers weren't in the magical texts, maybe the fiction could offer some inspiration.

As she entered the Great Hall for breakfast, she spotted Hermione and the Golden Trio at their usual spot. She made her way over and sat down, feeling a sense of belonging amidst the group. Harry and Ron greeted her with smiles, and she felt a surge of gratitude for their unwavering friendship.

"Did you find anything interesting in the book?" Hermione asked, curiosity gleaming in her eyes.

Lyanna nodded, a small smile playing on her lips. "Yes, I did. It was really fascinating. Thank you for recommending it."

"Glad you liked it," Hermione replied, her smile warm.

As they chatted over breakfast, Lyanna felt a renewed sense of purpose. She might not have all the answers yet, but she was determined to uncover the mysteries of her past and her abilities.
