The days before the special event at the Ministry of Magic were meant to be a time for Lyanna Malfoy to prepare herself for what would undoubtedly be a significant occasion. However, instead of fussing over her appearance or rehearsing her demeanor, Lyanna chose to retreat into the enchanted suitcase hidden within her room. This magical haven was not just a space for her belongings, but a world of its own where she could bond with her dragon, Fyrion.

Fyrion had grown impressively since the last time she had spent such dedicated time with him. His scales, which once shimmered with hints of grey and brown, had transformed into a glossy black. His wings, now grand and imposing, carried the same dark hue. Most striking of all, Fyrion's flames, previously a fierce blue, had begun to take on a sinister black hue with swirling patterns of blue. The changes in Fyrion's appearance reminded Lyanna of the legendary Balerion the Black Dread, though she hoped that Fyrion wouldn't reach such an enormous size. A dragon of that magnitude would be nearly impossible to conceal, let alone manage.

In the enchanted space of the suitcase, Lyanna spent hours with Fyrion, feeding him, observing him, and attempting to train him.

Despite her efforts, it became clear that Fyrion struggled to understand her commands. Frustration set in until Lyanna remembered a crucial detail from the ancient texts she had read: dragons responded best to commands given in the Valyrian tongue.

The problem was that Lyanna did not know how to speak Valyrian.

Determined to bridge this gap, she reached out to Melisandre through their enchanted mirror. The older woman, ever enigmatic, guided her through the basics of the language, emphasizing the phrases and tones needed to command a dragon. Melisandre's instructions were intense and demanding, and Lyanna found herself absorbed in the task, not taking a break until the day of the special event loomed near.

On the eve of the event, Lyanna decided it was time to attempt mounting Fyrion. She believed he was large enough to carry her weight, as his wingspan now stretched at least thirty feet wide. However, the task proved more challenging than she anticipated. Her first few attempts ended with her sliding off his back, earning painful scrapes on her legs. Determined, she tried again and again, until finally, she found herself securely seated on Fyrion's back.

To her surprise, Fyrion reacted by standing up and flapping his enormous wings. Before she could fully comprehend what was happening, Fyrion took to the air. Though he flew only in a small circle, sensing Lyanna's unease and her tight grip, the experience was exhilarating.

Her initial scream of surprise turned into a shout of joy as they landed back on the ground. She dismounted, her heart pounding with a mix of adrenaline and triumph.

As she exited the suitcase, the adrenaline began to wear off, and Lyanna noticed the numerous gashes on her legs. Swearing softly to herself, she knew she could heal them, but they would leave visible scars for a few days. This posed a problem for the elegant appearance expected at the Ministry event.

Determined not to let the scars mar her presentation, Lyanna chose a gown that was both elegant and complementary to her pale complexion, white hair, and striking purple eyes. The gown was a deep emerald green, a color that contrasted beautifully with her features while still fitting the aesthetic of the Malfoy family. The fitted bodice was adorned with intricate silver embroidery that mimicked the look of dragon scales, giving it a touch of her unique heritage without being overt.

The dress flared out at the waist into a graceful A-line skirt that fell just below her knees, effectively covering the scrapes on her legs. The sleeves were long and made of delicate lace, adding a touch of sophistication to the ensemble. Around her neck, she wore her beloved silver necklace, its Valyrian steel links glinting softly in the light.
