The train rolled into King's Cross Station, its whistle echoing through the platform as it came to a stop. Lyanna and Draco Malfoy gathered their belongings and stepped off the train, the hustle and bustle of the station surrounding them. Their mother, Narcissa Malfoy, stood waiting, her elegant figure instantly recognizable. She waved, a warm smile lighting up her face as her children approached.

"Mother!" Lyanna called, hurrying forward to embrace her. Draco followed suit, greeting his mother with a kiss on the cheek.

"Welcome back, my darlings," Narcissa said, her voice filled with affection. "I've missed you both so much."

"We've missed you too, Mother," Draco replied, adjusting his scarf against the chilly London air.

"Come now, let's get you home," Narcissa said, taking each of their hands. With a soft pop, they Disapparated from the station, reappearing moments later in the grand foyer of Malfoy Manor.

The manor's familiar grandeur greeted them, the high ceilings and ornate decor reflecting the Malfoy family's long-standing prestige. Narcissa led them to the sitting room, where a roaring fire and comfortable chairs awaited.

"Now, tell me everything about the Yule Ball," Narcissa said, settling into her favorite chair. "I want to hear all the details."

Draco smirked, lounging casually as he began his recount. "Well, Mother, my night was... alright. I took Pansy Parkinson as my date."

Lyanna rolled her eyes, unable to hold back a retort. "Honestly, Draco, why Pansy? She's insufferable."

Draco shot her a look. "She was available, and she asked. Unlike some people, I didn't have multiple options throwing themselves at me."

Lyanna laughed. "Maybe you should work on your manners, dear brother. That might help more girls see you as a desirable date."

Narcissa chuckled softly. "Now, now, children. Play nice. Draco, I'm sure your night with Pansy was... adequate. But I want to hear from Lyanna now. Tell me everything, darling."

Lyanna's eyes sparkled with excitement as she began. "Oh, Mother, it was absolutely magical. Cedric Diggory asked me to the ball, can you believe it? We spent the evening dancing and talking. The Great Hall was transformed with icicles and mistletoe, and the atmosphere was enchanting."

She went on to describe the moment they arrived, the applause as they entered the hall, and how the house tables had been replaced by smaller, lantern-lit ones surrounding a central dance floor. "Flitwick conducted a string quartet, and the music was just perfect. Cedric was the perfect gentleman all night."

Narcissa listened intently, her smile growing wider with each detail. "It sounds like a fairytale, Lyanna. I'm so glad you had such a wonderful time."

Lyanna continued, recounting the moment she and Cedric danced. "We danced as if it were only the two of us on the floor. It was like we were in our own world, just him and me. He even complimented my dress and said I looked stunning. And I must admit, he looked quite handsome himself."

Draco made a gagging noise, earning a playful slap on the arm from Lyanna. "Oh, shut up, Draco."

Ignoring her brother, Lyanna went on. "After dancing, we had drinks with Hermione and Viktor, but they left to have some time alone. Cedric and I stayed behind, talking and dancing some more. It was perfect."

Narcissa's eyes shone with pride and joy. "I'm so happy for you, Lyanna. It sounds like you and Cedric had a truly special evening."

Lyanna blushed slightly, recalling the end of the night. "When it was time to leave, Cedric walked me back to the Ravenclaw common room. Before saying goodnight, he kissed my hand. It was... really sweet."
