Days later, Lyanna finally had some free time and sought out Hermione. She found her friend in the library, surrounded by a pile of books as usual. Lyanna took a deep breath, knowing the conversation ahead would be difficult.

"Hermione, can we talk for a moment?" Lyanna asked, her voice tentative.

Hermione looked up from her book, slightly annoyed. "What is it, Lyanna? I'm quite busy."

Lyanna sat down across from Hermione, lowering her voice to a whisper. "I have something important to tell you. It's about the book 'Game of Thrones.' It's actually real, Hermione. There are other worlds out there, and this one is just one of many."

Hermione stared at her, raising an eyebrow. "Lyanna, that's ridiculous. 'Game of Thrones' is a fictional series. There are no other worlds."

"I'm serious, Hermione," Lyanna insisted, her voice growing more urgent. "I've learned things, things about my past and these other worlds. Dreams can sometimes allow people to cross between them. The book isn't just a story—it's based on a real place, on real events."

Hermione's expression hardened. "This is absurd, Lyanna. You're starting to sound obsessed. You need to stop reading those books and focus on reality."

Lyanna felt a pang of hurt at Hermione's words. "I'm not obsessed, Hermione. I'm telling you the truth. Why can't you believe me?"

"Because it's impossible!" Hermione snapped, her frustration evident. "You're disturbing me with these fantasies. You just want to distract me so you can stay on top of the class. Is that it, Lyanna? Are you jealous that I'm trying to focus on my studies?"

Lyanna's eyes widened in shock. "Hermione, that's not what this is about at all! I'm just trying to share something important with you."

Hermione stood up, gathering her books. "Well, I don't want to hear it. Stop disturbing me with your nonsense." With that, she turned and walked away, leaving Lyanna sitting there, feeling hurt and betrayed.

Lyanna watched Hermione go, tears welling up in her eyes. She had hoped to find support and understanding from her friend, but instead, she felt more alone than ever. The weight of her new knowledge pressed heavily on her, and she couldn't shake the feeling of isolation. Hermione had failed to apologize, and their friendship now felt strained under the burden of unspoken truths.

Just as Lyanna was about to leave the library, she heard a soft, familiar voice. "Miss Malfoy," Professor van Houten said, approaching her quietly. "May I have a word with you?"

Lyanna nodded, confused. "Of course, Professor."

They stepped into a quieter corner of the library. Professor van Houten looked at her with a serious expression. "I couldn't help but overhear part of your conversation with Miss Granger."

Lyanna's heart sank. "I'm sorry, Professor. I just thought... maybe Hermione would understand."

Professor van Houten shook her head gently. "You must be careful, Lyanna. Your heritage and the truth about other worlds are not things to be taken lightly or shared carelessly. Revealing too much to others can put you and those you care about in danger."

"But I thought I could trust Hermione," Lyanna protested, feeling a lump in her throat.

"Trust is important, but so is discretion," Professor van Houten replied. "Not everyone is ready to hear the truth, and some things are better kept secret until the right time. Focus on your studies and your growth. The time will come when you can share your knowledge, but for now, it must remain between us."

Lyanna nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I understand, Professor. I won't speak of it again."

Professor van Houten placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Good. Remember, you have a great destiny ahead of you. Don't let these setbacks discourage you. Stay focused and strong."

Lyanna took a deep breath and nodded again. "Thank you, Professor."

As she left the library, Lyanna felt a renewed sense of determination. She knew she had to be cautious and patient.

The next few weeks at Hogwarts grew increasingly dangerous as more students, particularly Muggle-borns, were found petrified. The atmosphere was thick with fear and uncertainty. Despite their recent quarrel, Lyanna couldn't help but worry for her friends, especially Hermione. The two didn't interact as much as they used to, and the distance between them weighed heavily on Lyanna's heart.

One evening, feeling the pressure of her worries, Lyanna made her way to the Slytherin common room. She was always welcome there, thanks to her brother Draco, who was somewhat of a celebrity among his housemates. The common room was dark and elegant, with green and silver decorations casting an eerie glow.

Lyanna found Draco lounging on a plush sofa, surrounded by his usual entourage of Slytherins. As she approached, the group greeted her with nods and smiles. Draco looked up, sensing her unease.

"Lyanna," he said, gesturing for her to sit beside him. "What's bothering you?"

She took a seat, glancing around at the curious faces before leaning in closer to Draco. "It's getting worse, Draco. More students are being petrified. I'm scared for Hermione and... well, everyone."

Draco's expression softened. "Nothing will happen to you, Lyanna. You're safe here."

"But am I really?" she whispered, her voice trembling. "I told you about my lineage. The Targaryens may be linked with dragons, but they aren't witches or wizards. In a way, I could be considered a Muggle-born. I'm not even from this world. There's no way of knowing who this monster will attack next. It could be any of us."

Draco's confidence wavered for a moment before he tightened his grip on her hand. "You're right, we can't be sure. But I'll protect you, Lyanna. No matter what."

Lyanna looked into her brother's eyes, seeing the determination there. She appreciated his words, but a lingering doubt gnawed at her. "Thank you, Draco. But we need to be careful. All of us."

He nodded, his expression serious. "We will be. Just stick close to me and don't wander around alone."

As the days passed, the tension in the school continued to mount. The fear of being the next victim hung over everyone's heads, and it was taking its toll on Lyanna. She couldn't shake off the anxiety that something terrible was going to happen. The fact that the attacks seemed so random and unpredictable made it all the worse.

Lyanna tried to keep herself busy with her studies and extra classes, but her mind often wandered to thoughts of her friends, especially Hermione. Despite their fight, she missed her friend's companionship and wisdom. The fear that Hermione could be the next victim haunted her, but Lyanna didn't know how to bridge the gap that had formed between them.

One evening, while Lyanna was studying in the library, she overheard a group of students talking in hushed tones about the latest victim. Her heart sank, and she couldn't concentrate any longer. She packed her things and headed back to the Slytherin common room, her thoughts racing.

As she entered the common room, Draco looked up from his conversation with Pansy Parkinson. Noticing his sister's distressed expression, he excused himself and walked over to her.

"Lyanna, what's wrong?" he asked, his concern evident.

She shook her head, trying to hold back tears. "It's just... everything. The attacks, the fear. I can't shake the feeling that something terrible is going to happen."

Draco put a reassuring arm around her. "We'll get through this, Lyanna. I promise. Just stay strong and keep your wits about you."

Lyanna nodded, taking a deep breath. She knew she had to be strong, not just for herself, but for her friends and for the future that Melisandre had spoken of.
