Ahmed's POV

As I was getting ready to leave for the office, my father called me and asked if I could bring the documents related to their partnership with Fahad Technologies to their office. I gathered my belongings and quietly entered my parents' bedroom, where I noticed my mother sleeping peacefully. Not wanting to disturb her, especially since she was unwell and had decided to stay home from work, I carefully retrieved the documents from my father's side table drawer. After ensuring I had everything I needed, I left for my father's office.

Upon arriving at the building, I witnessed a scene that momentarily halted my steps. A young woman stood nearby, releasing a white Australian pigeon into the air. Our eyes met, and I recognized her as Aira, now a grown and strikingly beautiful woman. There was a moment of mutual surprise as our gazes locked, before she quickly looked away, her expression one of innocent shock. Without further ado, she made her way to a nearby table and took a seat.

After she sat at the table, she pretended not to recognize me. So, I excused myself and went to the office, taking the elevator to Dad's room. I knocked and entered to find Dad talking with Mr. Fahad, his back facing me. I greeted them with Salam, and when Mr. Fahad turned and saw me, he stood up in surprise and hugged me, exclaiming, "MashaAllah, Umer! How are you, my child? You've grown so much. I haven't seen you in a long time!" Dad corrected him, "Fahad, you're mistaken. He's not Umer; he's my younger son, Mohammed Ahmed." Mr. Fahad looked shocked and apologized, "Oh, sorry! I saw you both when you were very little, so I didn't recognize Ahmed, my child. MashaAllah, you've become so handsome."

Author's POV

They parted from the hug, and Mr. Fahad kissed Ahmed on the forehead. Ahmed thanked him, and then he handed the documents to Mr. Dawood, saying, "Here, Dad, your documents. Now, I'm going to the office. Allah Hafiz." Mr. Fahad asked me, "Ahmed, why aren't you handling your father's business? It's all yours and Umer's after your father." I glanced at Dad, who explained, "Fahad, Ahmed is a responsible boy. He wants to stand on his own feet, independent and not rely on everything handed to him." Mr. Fahad then asked, "And what about Umer? Is he also working elsewhere?" Dad replied, "No, he's handling my business. You know he's a bit irresponsible, so he can't do anything on his own. I always have to guide him. He's handling my business with me, and Ahmed is always welcome to join whenever he wants." With that, Ahmed excused himself and left.

Mr. Fahad inquired about finding a partner for Umer since he's a bit irresponsible. Mr. Dawood sighed and said he's looking for suitable partners for both of them and asked for prayers. Mr. Fahad remembered that Aira was waiting for him, so he hurriedly excused himself, intending to drop her at the university. However, Mr. Dawood insisted that Ahmed should drop her. Mr. Fahad hesitated but eventually agreed to stay. Mr. Dawood called Ahmed, who was already about to leave the building, and asked if he could drop Mr. Fahad's daughter at her university. Ahmed, feeling rushed, apologized and requested the driver to drop her instead. After the call, he left the building, noticing Aira was still waiting outside. Wondering why she was there, he decided to focus on his work and headed to his office.

Aira's POV

I was lost in thought while sitting at the table, trying to process what had just happened and who I had seen a while ago. When I saw Ahmed, my heart rate spiked rapidly. It had been almost five years since I last saw him, and now he had transformed into a 24 year old grown man with a muscular, imposing physique. There was no denying that he had become even more handsome than before. It was the first time I had seen him wearing a full office suit, and it only added to his allure, making him even more attractive.
