Author's POV

After a week, Aira was no longer attending university as her father had withdrawn her from it. Despite Rohan and Mrs. Fahad's efforts, they couldn't change Mr. Fahad's decision, as his word was final. Rohan did his best to save his sister and prove her innocence, but nothing came of it. Ayeza trusted her sister more than anyone and refused to believe Bilal's accusations about her character but due to her father she was still with Bilal and she had a miscarriage due to tension and stress. Mr. Fahad was mostly busy with work and didn't speak to Aira. Mrs. Fahad couldn't intervene either, as she was scolded whenever she tried to support Aira. She knew that Aira had never liked her father's side of the family, except for Inaya. Aira spent most of her time in her bedroom, praying and reciting the Quran, as her dream of becoming a doctor was shattered. She had lost all hope of achieving her dream, especially since this was her final year to earn her medical degree.

Ahmed's POV

At 11 p.m., I was working on my laptop in bed because I was tired and had been dealing with a headache for a week. I had been taking medicine daily, but it wasn't helping, so I had taken leave from my office. While I was working on my laptop, I heard a knock on the door, and I said, "Come in." It was Umer hyung. He came in and sat on the bed beside me. I put my laptop aside and asked him, "Yeah, what happened, hyung?"

He replied, "Taehyung, please tell dad that I'm not in the mood to marry someone right now. You know I just broke up with my girlfriend, Kiara. Please tell dad not to force me, or I'll run away from home and never come back."

I looked at him in shock and said, "Hyung, are you okay? You had a girlfriend? You know it's all haram." He ignored my words and said, "Please, Taehyung, convince dad not to make me marry. I asked mom, but she isn't helping me."

I put my hands on his shoulders and said, "Hyung, listen. Islam is a beautiful religion, and when you're mature enough to marry, you should do so to avoid falling into any haram actions. Get into a halal relationship through nikah with someone you choose. I know dad will find a good partner for you. Mom and dad will never make a bad decision for you. I suggest you agree to them and get married."

He looked at me with disbelief and left, frustrated. I sighed and prayed, "Ya Allah, please find him a good life partner and keep him away from any haram actions. I ask for his forgiveness from You. Please, my Rabb, forgive my brother."

After some time I went to sleep.

Author's POV

Mr. Dawood was in his library room, reading a book on the history of Islam, when he remembered something and called Mr. Fahad. Mr. Fahad picked up the call and said, "Assalamualaikum Dawood, my brother, how are you!"

Mr. Dawood replied in a low voice, "Walaikum Assalam Fahad, I'm fine, Alhamdulillah...."

Mr. Fahad noticed the sadness in his tone and asked, "What happened, Dawood? Are you sad or something?"

Mr. Dawood sighed and said, "Yeah, I wanted to ask you for something."

"Yeah, tell me. I'm always here for you."

"Fahad, I wanted to ask for your daughter's hand in marriage for my Umer. Look, I have so many hopes from you, please don't say no. I know your family background, and I've known you for a long time. I know all your children are so religious and well-mannered. I believe this alliance would be beneficial for both our families, and I think they would make a wonderful couple. What do you say?"

Mr. Fahad also wanted to get Aira married as soon as possible, so he agreed and said, "We'll talk face to face tomorrow." They ended the call on that note.
