Now a week had passed, and Ahmed was busy at his office while Hanni was always with him, helping handle the business. They went to the office together and came back together. Initially, Aira used to wait for Ahmed for dinner, but he always came home late. Eventually, she started having dinner alone and went to sleep early, while Ahmed dined with Hanni at the office and came home late when Aira was already asleep. Ji-so, noticing Ahmed's absence, no longer felt the need to play the role of being kind to Aira and started ignoring her as well.
One morning, Aira woke up to find that Ahmed had left for the office without informing her, as usual. Frustrated, she decided to talk to him about this matter face to face. She tried calling Ahmed, but Hanni had turned off his phone. Feeling even more frustrated, Aira went for breakfast.
That night, Aira decided not to sleep and to wait for Ahmed to come home so she could talk to him. She went to Mr. Dawood's library to spend some time there until Ahmed returned. It was 12 am, and Aira was busy reading books when a tear fell from her eye. This was Mr. Dawood's favorite place, and she whispered, "Dad, I miss you so much." She looked up at the ceiling, wiped away her tears, and continued reading.
Ahmed came home with Hanni at 12:30 am. Hanni said, "Oh man, I'm so tired today. I'm going to take a rest. You should freshen up and sleep. Goodnight."

Ahmed nodded and watched as Hanni headed to her room. When he went to his room, he didn't see Aira sleeping, which was unusual since she was always asleep when he came home from the office. He freshened up and went downstairs to find Aira. He asked the maids where she was, and they told him she was in the library room.
He made his way to the library and quietly opened the door. There, he saw Aira silently reading a book. The sight of her, alone and engrossed in reading, made his heart ache with guilt. He knew he had been neglecting her, and seeing her like this only solidified his resolve to make amends.

"Aira," he called softly, stepping into the room.
She looked up, surprised to see him. "So finally, you're back, Kim Taehyung," she said, closing her book.
