"Listen to 'Jeene Laga Hoon' by Atif Aslam while reading for a better experience."

...

As they settled into the living room, Ji-woo excused herself to tend to her son, leaving Ahmed and Aira alone with Ji-so. The atmosphere was now filled with a sense of warmth and acceptance, a stark contrast to the tension that had previously lingered in the air.

Ahmed and Aira exchanged glances, their smiles reflecting the newfound harmony in their family. Seated beside each other on the couch, Ahmed's hand found its place on Aira's shoulder, a silent gesture of affection and support.

Ji-so's words broke the peaceful silence, her gaze softening as she complimented Aira's appearance. "Aira, you are looking absolutely stunning in this attire," she remarked, her voice filled with genuine admiration.

Aira's smile widened at the compliment, a sense of gratitude washing over her. "Thank you, Mom," she replied, her voice tinged with sincerity.

But Ji-so wasn't done yet. With a sparkle in her eyes, she reached for a beautifully wrapped package and presented it to Aira. "Aira, I bought this dress for your ceremony tomorrow," she explained, her tone filled with earnestness. "I know we already have one, but this one I bought with all my heart and love. I want you to wear it for your valima ceremony."

Ahmed's smile grew wider at his mother's heartfelt gesture, his eyes reflecting his appreciation for her acceptance of Aira. "As you wish, Mom," Aira replied with a nod, touched by Ji-so's thoughtfulness.

As they continued to chat, the evening wore on, and Ahmed began to feel the fatigue of the day catching up with him. With a yawn, he excused himself, mentioning that he needed to rest after praying Esha.

Left alone with Aira, Ji-so smiled warmly at her daughter-in-law. "Aira, it's getting late, and tomorrow is your special day," she said gently. "You should go and get some rest. We have a big day ahead of us."

As Aira entered their room, the sight of Ahmed peacefully sleeping brought a mixture of emotions. She closed the door quietly behind her, wanting to preserve the tranquility of the moment. With a heavy heart, she approached the dresser, her fingers absentmindedly twirling a lock of hair as she contemplated the evening's events.

Gazing at Ahmed's serene form, a sad pout formed on Aira's lips, a silent acknowledgment of the plans they had made for a special night together. The desire to share intimate moments with him tugged at her heart, but she knew that family obligations also held great importance, especially to Ahmed.

With a resigned sigh, Aira set aside her longing and began to change into her nightwear. As she slipped into something more comfortable, her mind lingered on the tender moments they had shared earlier in the evening, the warmth of Ahmed's embrace and the genuine acceptance from his mother. After changing, she prayed Esha Salah and went towards her bed.

Though their plans had been altered, Aira found solace in the love they shared and the understanding between them. With a sense of acceptance, she joined Ahmed in bed, curling up beside him as she prepared to embrace the restful night ahead.

At 3 am, Ahmed woke up to find Aira cuddled up against him. He smiled, kissed her forehead gently, and quietly slipped out of bed to perform ablution for the tahajjud prayer. Once he was ready, he returned to the bedroom and softly caressed Aira's hair, whispering, "Baby, wake up, it's tahajjud time."

Aira stirred, rubbed her eyes, and saw Ahmed smiling down at her. She asked sleepily, "Are you feeling good?"

Ahmed looked puzzled and asked, "Yeah, what happened to me?"
