When they reached downstairs, they noticed that Ji-so had already left for work, leaving the house empty except for the maids. Ahmed informed the maids that they were going out. He was about to take out his car keys when Aira gently stopped him by holding his shoulders.
"No, we will go by walk today," she said with a smile.
He looked at her, a bit puzzled. "Baby, you want us to come back home on a wheelchair?" he teased.
Aira laughed at his statement and shook her head. "No, Ahmed. I just want to feel the air and nature by walking."
Ahmed nodded, understanding her desire. "Anything for you, my princess. Belle, this beast can do anything for you," he said, making her smile.
They left the house hand in hand, enjoying the fresh air and the beauty of nature as they walked down the street together.
Ahmed glanced back at Aira as she stopped and pretended to catch her breath dramatically. "Look at you, already tired from a leisurely stroll. Are we going to need a rescue team soon?"
Aira shot him a playful glare. "Excuse me? I'm perfectly fine. Just taking a moment to enjoy the scenic view of your jokes."Ahmed grinned mischievously. "Ah, my jokes are top-notch scenic views, I agree. But hey, if you need a break, just let me know. I can carry you the rest of the way."
Aira raised an eyebrow. "Oh really? I'd like to see you try, Mr. Husband."
Ahmed chuckled, squeezing her hand. "Challenge accepted. Let's see if you can keep up with my lightning-fast pace." They continued walking, their banter filling the air with laughter and joy.
Ahmed and Aira walked hand in hand through the bustling streets, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the gentle breeze. They passed by quaint cafes and shops, occasionally stopping to admire a display or share a treat. Ahmed couldn't help but notice how Aira's eyes sparkled with excitement at every little thing they encountered.
"Look at that," Aira pointed to a street performer juggling colorful balls. "Isn't it amazing how they keep everything up in the air like that?"
Ahmed grinned, watching her enthusiasm. "They're good, but not as good as you."
Aira rolled her eyes playfully. "Oh, please. I can't juggle to save my life."
"But you juggle my heart every day," Ahmed teased, earning a soft laugh from Aira.
As they walked on, they stumbled upon a park with a beautiful fountain. Ahmed suggested they sit by the fountain for a while. They found a quiet bench and settled in, watching the water dance in the sunlight.
"This feels like a dream," Aira sighed contentedly.
Ahmed nodded, intertwining their fingers. "It does. I never realized how much I missed these moments with you."
