Aira was sitting on the sand near the water, lost in watching the stars. She placed her shoes to the side and didn't notice when a big wave swept them away. After some time, she stood up, intending to wear her shoes, but they were gone. Sighing, she walked away barefoot.
She didn't sleep the entire night, watching the sunrise, and then began walking aimlessly on the footpath. Her feet became swollen and dirty from the sand and road. She reached her old school, where she used to study with Ahmed, and watched the children play, memories flooding back. She moved on to her college, far from home, a tear falling as she remembered returning Ahmed's coat and their goodbye five years ago.
Meanwhile, at 10 am, Ayeza and Safia woke up. By noon, Ayeza decided to check on Aira, not having seen her since the previous night. She knocked on Aira's door, receiving no response. Entering the room, she found everything in place and assumed Aira was in the bathroom. But there was no sound of water. She knocked on the bathroom door, but it was open, and Aira was not there. Panicked, she told her mother, and they searched the entire house, enlisting the maids' help, but Aira was nowhere to be found. Ayeza discovered Aira's phone, wallet, and belongings still in her room, causing them to panic.
Safia cried, "My poor belle has faced so much because of her own father, who couldn't believe her purity and innocence."
Ayeza turned on Aira's phone and called Ahmed, who was heading out for some work.
"Assalamualaikum, Aira... are you alright?" Ahmed answered.
"Ahmed, it's Ayeza. Belle is missing."
He stopped his car abruptly. "Ayeza, where is she? Is she fine?"
"Aira is not at home. We've looked everywhere, but she's gone. What should we do?"
Ahmed suggested, "Check again, maybe she went to the terrace or bathroom."
"We checked everywhere. Her phone, wallet, everything is here. She's nowhere to be found," Ayeza sobbed.
"Okay, okay, don't worry. I'll try to find her. She can't have gone far."
Ayeza cut the call and relayed the information to Safia. They debated whether to inform Rohan but decided to wait.
Mr. Fahad came home, ignoring Safia's tears. "Safia, Mr. Dawood's last wish was for Aira to marry Ahmed. I agreed. After her iddat, I'll arrange their nikah."
Ayeza, in disbelief, responded, "Appa, do you even know where Aira is? Do you care if she's alive or dead? You just want to impose your will on her."
He dismissed her concern, "She must be somewhere around. She won't go far."
Ayeza, furious, retorted, "She's gone. You got what you wanted, didn't you? Bilal made you believe she was impure, and now she's gone!"
Determined, Fahad replied, "I'll find her. How could she do this?"
At 2 pm, after praying duhur and making dua for Aira's safety, Ahmed sped off, searching every road, hospital, orphanage, and park. He instructed his guards to help in the search. A friend called him to pick up important papers from his apartment. Despite his worry for Aira, he went to get them.
In the parking lot, he saw Aira standing on the footpath near a convenience store, playing with a child. Angry and relieved, he crossed the road, grabbed her shoulders, startling her. He pulled her aside, her back hitting the wall.
