5 YEARS LATER

Ahmed completed his engineering while Aira was still studying for medical. Aira's family shifted to Seoul because of their Appa's main business branch being there and also for Aira's studies. Rohan married Inaya and was blessed with a baby boy a year after their marriage named Abdul Wahab Khan. They were still living in Busan to manage the business branch, as he had always handled that branch. Ayeza became a psychologist but was not practicing, choosing instead to stay home and help her Eomma. Mr. Fahad's parents passed away-first his father, due to a heart attack, and then his mother two years later, due to kidney failure.

Author's POV

Rohan had come to Seoul with his family to spend some time with his sisters and parents. Mr. Fahad was busy partnering his business with his old close friend's company, named "Dawood and Sons." Meanwhile, Mrs. Fahad was on the phone with Ruby.

"Assalamualaikum, eonnie. How are you, and how's Bilal doing?"

"Walaikum Assalam, Safia. I'm fine, and Bilal is also doing well, handling his stepfather's business."

"Good to hear that he has become a responsible man."

"Safia... I wanted to ask you something."

"Yes, Tell me, what can I do for you?"

"I wanted to ask for Ayeza's hand in marriage for Bilal."

Mrs. Fahad fell silent, unsure of what Ayeza's and Mr. Fahad's reactions would be. After a moment, she said, "Ruby, give me some time to discuss this with Fahad and Ayeza. It's a very delicate matter. I hope you understand."

"Yes, yes, don't worry, Safia. I'll wait and hope for a positive response. Bilal will keep Ayeza very happy and give her every happiness."

Mrs. Fahad hummed in response, and with that, they ended the call.

Mrs. Fahad went to Rohan's room and knocked on the door softly, mindful not to disturb Wahab, who was sleeping. She didn't want to discuss the matter in front of Inaya, so when Rohan opened the door, she motioned for him to step outside. They went to the yard and sat at the table, where Mrs. Fahad poured them both some tea. Rohan, curious, asked, "Why did you call me, eomma?" Mrs. Fahad replied, "Today, Ruby called me and asked for Ayeza's hand for Bilal. I didn't know how to respond, so I asked her to give me some time to talk to Ayeza and her appa." Rohan contemplated for a moment, then said, "I don't think we can find a better match for her than him. You should talk to appa about this because I don't see any issue with this marriage... But please, don't go against Ayeza's wishes. While Bilal seems like a good match, but if he ever hurts my sister, I'll never let him live in peace."

Mrs. Fahad simply hummed in response, and they both shared some conversations.

At night, Mrs. Fahad went to Ayeza's room to discuss Bilal's mom's proposal. Ayeza agreed with her mom, saying that she would go along with whatever they decided and that if everyone was happy, she had no issues. Mrs. Fahad, relieved by Ayeza's answer, called Ruby to share their decision. Mrs. Fahad had already discussed the matter with Mr. Fahad, who also had no objections to the marriage, but Ayeza's approval and her will.

Ruby was thrilled and told her that she would come to Seoul to finalize the marriage arrangements as soon as possible. She mentioned that she was getting older and, with Inaya already married, she needed someone to help take care of the house, as Bilal was her only son.
