Backstory: Kage Akio had always been a loner. Despite growing up in a supportive village with loving parents, he found comfort and solace in solitude. The tranquillity of being alone appealed to him, allowing him to reflect and grow in his own time.

However, his isolation did not prevent him from forming close connections with his family and eventually becoming more sociable, participating in village activities and slowly integrating into the community.

Tragedy struck when a demon attacked his hometown, leaving Kage as one of the few survivors. The traumatic event caused him to retreat back into his loner mentality, isolating himself from others once more.

Determined to avenge his village and prevent others from suffering the same fate, Kage trained under a cultivator, the very same person who had rescued him during the attack. This rigorous training helped Kage refine his exceptional reflexes and master the Shadow Breathing style.

Embarking on his mission to become a demon slayer, Kage initially preferred to work alone, finding comfort in the solitude of his tasks. However, this changes when he is assigned a mission alongside other slayers, Faran and Mariya.

The trio had distinct personalities, but their differences strengthened their bond over time. Faran and Mariya's companionship slowly drew Kage out of his shell, helping him rediscover the value of camaraderie and friendship.

Their tumultuous lives as demon slayers brought them closer, and Kage began seeing Faran and Mariya as family. Their influence helped him open up and embrace the support and warmth of working with others.
