The Kazemaru family gathered around the warm, inviting glow of the dining room, their faces illuminated by the gentle flicker of candlelight. The room, filled with the comforting aroma of home, starkly contrasted with the icy battle that had raged outside.

The family sat together at the table, still processing the revelations and emotions of the day. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation. Each family member was keenly aware that they were on the brink of learning something that could change their understanding of their lives forever.

Shirayuki's heart was heavy with the weight of her newfound responsibilities and the recent loss of her uncle Touya. Her mind was a whirl of questions and uncertainties. Learning she now had a limited time to fight the demon was a blow, but she was determined to push through this obstacle like always.

Then, Asahi broke the silence, her voice tinged with curiosity and concern. "Father, what do you mean there's more to tell?" she asked, her eyes fixed on Shuhei. Her question hung in the air, filled with the anticipation and anxiety shared by all present.

Shuhei glanced at Chifuyu, seeking her silent support. She gave him a reassuring nod and squeezed his hand gently, encouraging him to share what was clearly a well-guarded secret. Then, Chifuyu turned her gaze to Shirayuki. Her expression softened with a mother's unconditional love and understanding.

"Shirayuki..." Chifuyu began as Shirayuki faced her. Her voice was gentle but carried the weight of the words that were about to follow. "Have you met Kagaya already?" she asked as she saw Shirayuki furrowed her brows. Her mind rifled through memories.

Then, Shirayuki tilted her head. "Kagaya?" she echoed, her mind racing to place the unfamiliar name. Seeing her daughter's confusion, Chifuyu let out a light-hearted laugh, nodding as she clarified. "My apologies. Maybe you know him better as Oyakata-sama," she explained.

At the mention of the Demon Slayer Corps' leader, Shirayuki's eyes widened in recognition. "Yes, I met him," she confirmed, her voice laced with respect before she smiled softly. "I even had a conversation with him just a few hours ago," she added, lowering her head thoughtfully.

Her mind flashed back to their conversation, to the calm authority and kindness in Oyakata-sama's demeanour. But it soon faded away as confusion laced her features once again. "But why do you ask, mother?" Shirayuki inquired, her curiosity piqued further. "And you even called him by his first name...do you know him?" she added, her voice laced with wonder.

Chifuyu chuckled softly at her daughter's bewilderment, a light, melodic sound that eased the tension in the room. "Do I know him? Well, yes, I do, because he is my nephew," she revealed, her voice carrying a hint of pride mixed with nostalgia.

At this revelation, Shirayuki's eyes slowly widened in shock, and she straightened her posture, trying to absorb the magnitude of what she had just learned. "What? O-Oyakata-sama is a Kazemaru? B-but I thought..." she trailed off, struggling to reconcile this new information with what she believed to be true.

Chifuyu chuckled again, understanding her daughter's confusion. "No, his last name is Ubuyashiki, just like mine was," Chifuyu explained, glancing at Shuhei, who smiled at her lovingly. "But I became a Kazemaru when I married your father," she continued, and Shuhei's eyes sparkled with warmth as he met hers.
