*Whoosh*

*Whoosh*

The soft flutter of wings cut through the stillness, accompanied by a crow's faint but insistent caw. Its silhouette glided ahead, black against the endless maze of twisting corridors and walls that shifted within the Infinity Castle.

Shirayuki followed it as it guided her up north. Her white hair shimmered under the faint light of the lanterns that hung sporadically along the walls. She could feel the subtle temperature changes of the shifting space and the heat signatures of distant presences, both demon and human.

*Caw*

*Caw*

However, the crow briefly interrupted her focus when it fluttered to a stop just ahead. Its wings flapped rapidly, and it let out an urgent cry that echoed through the hall. "Tanjiro Kamado and Giyu Tomioka have defeated Upper Moon 3, Akaza!" the crow announced, its voice shrill but triumphant.

Shirayuki's steps slowed as the crow's words settled in. Then, a soft smile played on her lips. "Tanjiro-kun..." she whispered to herself, her voice barely audible in the emptiness of the labyrinth. Her mind drifted, if only for a moment, to the boy. 'He really did it,' she thought, her smile widening slightly.

*Whoosh*

Unfortunately, her reflection was cut short. A faint sound reached her ears. It was something soft but unmistakable, like the whisper of air disturbed by sudden movement. Shirayuki's smile faded as her brow furrowed.

Shirayuki tilted her head upward as her brows furrowed. Her blind eyes narrowed in concentration, and she turned her head slowly, focusing on the sound. 'Two heat signatures are approaching,' she thought, feeling how they were approaching fast. 'Wait, is that...?' she wondered before shaking her head and jumping back instinctively.

*CRASH*

*Thud*

Wood splintered, and debris rained down, sending a violent gust of wind whipping through the corridor. From above, two figures came crashing down, their bodies hitting the ground with a heavy thud.

The first heat signature pulsed with a chaotic energy she recognised all too well. "Akira..." she whispered, her voice soft but filled with concern. His presence was unmistakable, though she could feel his energy was off like wild and unstable, like a flame burning out of control.

He was bleeding, blood pouring from multiple gashes across his arms and torso. His eyes, wild and unfocused, locked onto Shirayuki as he struggled to his feet. His bloodstained fists clenched tightly, and despite the apparent pain wracking his body, there was a manic intensity in his gaze.

Relief washed over Shirayuki, though it was short-lived as her focus shifted to the second presence. The other figure, regenerating rapidly even as she sensed the damage to his body, was something else entirely.
