THE WEEK FOLLOWING Fred and George's departure was one Cassiopeia hoped she would never forget. Many students, inspired by the twins' example, went out of their way to make Umbridge's life insufferable, dropping dungbombs and stinkpellets frequently in the corridors and using the Skiving Snackboxes the twins sold as an excuse to skive her lessons, claiming they were suffering under symptoms caused by 'Umbridge-itis'. Cassiopeia had even opted to help Lee Jordan slip a niffler into her office.

Cassie, still in high spirits, decided to attend the final match of the quidditch season, Gryffindor versus Ravenclaw, in hopes that they would win the cup — maybe then she would be in a good enough mood to completely forget about all her troubles.

Cassiopeia sat with Dean and Seamus, watching the match intently while attempting to drown out the Slytherins singing 'Weasley is our king' from the other side of the stands, which only grew louder as the Ravenclaws scored their first goal which Ron failed to save.

Just as the match continued, Cassiopeia noticed Harry and Hermione talking to Hagrid just a few seats away before the three of them got up and proceeded to leave the stands. Cassie caught Harry's eye just before he left, raising a brow at him to which he responded with a shrug. She looked away with a sigh, continuing to watch the match.

Just as she turned, she caught sight of another Ravenclaw chaser about to score another goal. She braced for another failed save — just as he threw the quaffle, Ron flew left and suddenly kicked the ball away from the goal, making the Gryffindor crowd roar with happiness. The match only went better from there.

Just five minutes later, Ron saved another goal, while the Gryffindor team continued to gain points, right up until the moment when Ginny managed to get the snitch from right underneath Cho Chang's nose, securing the victory for the Gryffindors.

Cassiopeia rushed down to the pitch, realising that they had just won the cup. She made it down just in time to see Ron being given the silver quidditch cup by Madam Hooch, waving it in the air to the cheering crowd. "CASSIE LOOK — WE DID IT! WE WON!" he yelled, beaming.

"I know!" she cheered happily, trying to push through the crowd to get closer to him.

"WHERE'S RON AND HERMIONE?"

"Er—"

But she was interrupted as the team began to lift Ron up, placing him on their shoulder, beginning to sing their own rendition of the Slytherin song:

"Weasley can save anything,
He never leaves a single ring,
That's why Gryffindors all sing:
Weasley is our King."

Cassiopeia simply smiled as they went past, not willing to tell Ron that his best friends weren't present for the match. She supposed they could break that news to him themselves.
