The next day, Luz was released from the hospital. She was in her room, just thinking about the napkin sticking to her hand yesterday. She was afraid to even touch anything because of it. She was busy thinking about what to do about it, when her thoughts were interrupted by a small meow. Luz looked down and saw King.

"Hi, King." Luz said, "I... don't feel like petting you right now."

Luz turned her attention back to her hands, ignoring the kitten's antics. King walked over to the other side of the room and jumped onto Luz's dresser. Luz was looking at her hands, when she felt a tingle in the back of her head. She quickly looked at King walking on her dresser, about to knock over stuff. Luz quickly jumped off her bed, far more than she's ever been able to jump before, and grabbed the first thing he knocked over. Then she reached out and grabbed the next thing. She fell on her back and looked as he jumped over to her desk, where a picture of her mom was. King knocked it over and Luz reached out, trying to grab it. She curled her fingers a bit and something came out of her wrist. Luz was stunned for a second, seeing the picture frame stuck to the wall by a web. She put the stuff down... after she struggled to let go of it... and looked at the wall.

"W-w-what's happening to me?"

Luz looked down at her hands and then back at the wall.

"I... I wonder."

Luz put her hands on the wall, followed by her feet. Luz looked down and saw that her hunch was correct, she could stick to the wall. Luz tried her hardest to focus on her hands. She stayed calm and focused on them, allowing herself to pull them away. She began to move higher up the wall, all the way until she was on the ceiling. Her wonder and amazement at what she just did was clouding her logic, which is why she decided to pull her hands back and stand on the ceiling.

"O-o-oh, my God... is this really happening?" Luz asked.

She got so focused on the fact that she was standing on the ceiling, that she wasn't focused HOW she's standing on the ceiling, leading to her no longer standing on the ceiling. Luz's feet stopped sticking to the ceiling and she began to fall. Out of... Luz believed it was from reflex that she got from her powers... she flipped midair and landed on her feet, putting one hand on the ground to help her stay on the ground, while another hand was in the air to help with balance (AKA the stance you instantly think of when you think of Spider-Man stances). Luz stood up and immediately froze when she heard the doorknob turn.

"Hey, Kid, you okay in here? I heard a lot of noise." Eda said.

"Y-y-yeah, just... King was knocking over somethings of mine."

It wasn't a lie, he was indeed knocking over his stuff.

"Oh really?" Eda asked, grabbing King by the scruff of his neck, "What have I told you about knocking over stuff? You're a naughty little kitty."

Eda took King out of the room and Luz looked over to the picture that Eda, luckily, didn't see.

"I can shoot a web from my wrist... I... could I swing on it?" Luz wondered, "I... guess I'll try it tonight."

It was best to do it at night, when less people would be out. Unknown to Luz, Eda was around the corner, listening to her entire conversation.

'I knew she was hiding something.' Eda thought, 'Kid, don't do something stupid... Lily will kill me.'
