At Blight Industries, Odalia was going through several possible armored suits for her... special project. That's when she found one that Amity made when she was six when Alador took a bid for a military contract.
'Hmm... some adjustments would need to be made, but it could work.' Odalia thought, 'I love having geniuses for children, they make things so much easier.'
Suddenly, Odalia got a phone call and pulled out her phone before answering it.
"Hello?" Odalia said before getting serious, "Oh, yes, Mr. Negative, how can I help you sir?"
"What's the status on the subject?"
"SV-01 has safely been transported to the new lab and is undergoing tests as we speak." Odalia said.
"Excellent. How long until the testing phase is complete and the subject is ready for its purpose?" Mr. Negative asked.
"It'll take at least eight months." Odalia said.
"Mmm, that'll do but if you can get them completed before that deadline, I'll pay you more." Mr. Negative said.
"Double?" Odalia asked with a grin.
"Yes... but if it takes longer... I will have your head mounted on my wall." Mr. Negative siad, "Is that clear?"
Odalia went pale.
"Y-y-yes... sir."
"Good. Have a nice day, Mrs. Blight." Mr. Negative said before hanging up the phone.
Odalia placed the phone down and clenched her fists, trying to calm herself.
"Focus, you need to finish this." Odalia said, looking at a hologram of the suit, "Hmm, how do I use this as a way to inject Edric's serum into people?"
Odalia thought about it and made a couple changed to Amity's design. She got rid of the original helmet and replaced it with a mask that covered everything but the mouth, with two red optical sensors for the eye lenses. She also replaced the gloves with a more specialized glove Blight Industries was making that would allow the wearer to climb walls easily. As she did, she began to think.
'Hmm... is it... yes, this will work perfectly!' Odalia thought as she added a tail to the suit in order to allow injection, 'Yes... now I need to save it to my personal computer... I'll label it... project Scorpion.'
After labeling the file and quickly moving the improved armor hologram to her personal files, she received a message on her phone and looked at it. It was a message from her husband, Alador.
"What does he want?"
-Edric is feeling bad about what happened at the high school and Amity. Think you could offer some advice to help lift his spirits?- Alador.
Odalia, being the ever so manipulative sociopath she is, couldn't pass this opportunity.
-Of course, I'll talk to him later. He'll be better by the next time you see him.- Odalia.
Odalia couldn't believe how easy this was!
"Now if only Amity wasn't in a coma, it would be far easier to get her out of the hospital if she was awake."
Odalia went back to her digital notes, setting her son's name up with to be the first test subject for Project Scorpion.
"Now the fun begins."
Odalia turned to leave the lab and meet with her son to "talk" with him about how he's been feeling as of late.
