Back in the city, Willow walked into a hospital room. There she saw a familiar face, laying in a hospital bed, with her mothers around her. The taller woman smiled upon seeing Willow.

"Willow, I'm so glad you're okay." She said, giving Willow a small hug, "We don't want something happening to our sunrises favorite girl."

"Mom! What have I said about the nickname!"

Willow giggled.

"We'll give you two some space." The other mother said, adjusting her glasses.

The two left the room and Willow sat next to the bed.

"So, crazy day at school, huh?" Willow asked.

"Hey, until you have to dodge falling rubble, I don't want to hear it." Boscha said, "17 broken bones, three in my left arm, four in my left leg, nine ribs, and my pelvis... support beams suck. I'm probably going to be in a wheelchair for months."

"Well, the worst I have is a concussion and a few minor bruises, but I did come face to barrel with those guns on several different occasions." Willow said, "So... sunshine, huh?"

"When I was growing up, the sun would hit my hair and because of how light it was when I was a kid, it would look like the sun was making it glow." Boscha said, "Blonde hair is cool, but when it leads to embarrassment like that, it sucks."

"I think it's cute." Willow said, leaning over and giving Boscha a kiss, "You know, when I heard you were hurt, I got scared."

"Well, don't worry, I'm too skilled to be taken out by some rubble." Boscha said, giving Willow a wink.

"Boscha... I want to take our relationship public." Willow said, "I don't want to hide it anymore."

"But... you said you don't want people to know that you're dating the popular, second richest, and most beloved Basketball player in the entire school." Boscha said, "You said you were afraid people will treat you differently."

"I'd rather that, than have to lose the love of my life." Willow said, grabbing Boscha's hand.

"You'll be fine, I'm not going anywhere." Boscha said, "I'm just glad the vigilante found me and got that debris off me."

"Yeah... she's something else alright." Willow said, knowing she'll have to talk to Luz later.

In another part of the hospital, Amity was in a coma, with Alador standing next to her hospital bed. He tightened his grip on his cane and did his best to keep his tears in. He got lucky that Emira and Edric got out before they could get hurt, but Amity... his youngest daughter, in a coma... it hurt him.

"When will she wake up?" Alador asked the doctors.

"We... are uncertain... if she will wake up."

Alador closed his eyes and just fell into a chair. He couldn't stand up if he tried, and it wasn't because of his arthritis. For the first time in his life, he was truly afraid.

'Please, God... don't take her... take ANYONE but Amity.'

As if Alador thought this was bad... at Blight Industries, Odalia was speaking with her partner.

"SV-01 is being moved as we speak, my Husband will be none the wiser." Odalia said.

"And the people that are in prison?"

"I have a contingency plan." Odalia said, "Shall we begin the next phase?"

"You may begin."

The call ended, right as the door to the conference opened. Odalia smiled and turned around to see her eldest.

"Emira, I'm so glad you came." Odalia said, "How is your... project going?"

"It's fine, listen, I really don't want to talk about gene splicing right now, I'm very worried about Amity." Emira said.

"Oh, that's why I called you hear, there's something you can help me with, it might help Amity."

"Is... that what you were talking to that person about?" Emira asked, a bit hesitant.

"Yes... it's... an old friend, he was just... so distraught when he heard about Amity." Odalia said, using her daughter's sadness to get her to agree, "He gave me an idea to use an old... invention... to help heal Amity faster. It just needs someone that understands genetic codes, such as yourself."

"I... I guess if it's for Amity." Emira said, "But... who was it that you were talking to? What's their name?"

"Oh, they don't like telling their name to new people, but if you must know, he tends to go by... Mr. Negative."
