Three years had passed, and life on the farm continued to be a fulfilling adventure for the Butler family. Lori-Anne, now seven years old, was in second grade and thriving in her homeschooling environment. Emma and Austin had decided early on that homeschooling would be the best option for her, allowing them to tailor her education to her interests and the unique opportunities their farm offered.

As they walked to the chicken coop, Benny trailed behind them, his three-year-old energy turning every step into a joyful bounce. He loved being outside, constantly exploring and finding new ways to make everyone laugh. His adventurous spirit reminded Emma of Austin, always ready for the next big thing.
While Lori-Anne and Emma studied the chickens, Austin worked on repairing a fence nearby, keeping a watchful eye on his family. He marveled at how Lori-Anne's gentle nature mirrored Emma's, and how Benny's exuberance echoed his own love for life.
"Daddy, look!" Lori-Anne called out, holding up an egg she had just collected. "This one has little spots on it!"
Austin walked over, grinning. "That's a beauty, Lori-Anne. You're becoming quite the expert on chickens."
Lori-Anne beamed with pride, her love for animals growing with each passing day. After their lessons, she would often spend hours in the barn, tending to the animals and learning about their behaviors. Her gentle touch and patient demeanor made her a natural caretaker, much like her mother.
