When Austin and Lori-Anne returned from a trip to the city, Emma couldn’t wait to share Benny’s newfound aspiration. They gathered in the living room, Benny bouncing with excitement as he shared his dream with his father and sister.
“Dad, Lori-Anne, I’ve decided I want to be a veterinarian when I grow up!” Benny announced proudly.
Austin’s face lit up with pride. “That’s fantastic, Benny! I’ve always known you had a special connection with animals. I’m so proud of you for wanting to help them.”
Lori-Anne nodded enthusiastically. “You’re going to be amazing, Benny. The animals on our farm are lucky to have you. And I bet you’ll make a lot of new furry friends in the future.”
The family spent the evening discussing Benny’s dream, making plans to support him in every way possible. Austin and Emma decided to get Benny some books about veterinary science and arranged for him to spend time with a local vet to gain some hands-on experience.
