Benny planned the picnic with care, choosing a secluded spot near a gently flowing river, surrounded by wildflowers. He packed a basket with all of Lexy's favorite foods, hoping to make the day special.

As they sat on a blanket, enjoying the food and each other's company, Benny felt a sense of peace. The moment felt right, and he knew he had to speak up.

"Lexy," he began, his voice soft but earnest. "There's something I need to tell you."

Lexy looked at him, her blue eyes filled with curiosity and a hint of nervousness. "What is it, Benny?"

Taking a deep breath, Benny continued. "I've been thinking a lot lately, and I realize that I can't keep these feelings to myself anymore. I care about you, Lexy, more than just a friend. I understand if you don't feel the same way, but I had to tell you."
