In the dim, silent night, Abhay lay on his luxurious king-sized bed, a subtle frown on his face. His nightmare had been so vivid—shadows looming, an eerie darkness swallowing everything. Jolting awake, his breath ragged, he looked beside him. Aditi lay peacefully asleep, her face softened by the gentle glow of moonlight streaming through the windows.

Trying to calm his nerves, Abhay slipped out of bed, poured himself a glass of water, and let the cool liquid soothe his throat. Just as he was beginning to shake off the remnants of his dream, a sudden flash of white light caught his eye from the corner of the room. His instincts kicked in; without a moment's hesitation, he dashed upstairs, his heart pounding.

To his horror, he saw Aditi slipping into a swirling portal on the floor, the white light pulling her in. "Aditi!" he shouted, but it was too late—she vanished into the blinding void. Panic gripped him. He immediately called his trusted secretary Karan and his close friend Vidhi, who rushed to his side.

The three of them hurried to the palace's ancient library, knowing that it held secrets from realms unknown. The flickering candlelight cast dancing shadows on the dusty shelves, and the scent of aged parchment filled the room as they frantically flipped through enchanted books.

Vidhi's fingers trailed over the titles, her eyes darting back and forth. "There has to be something here," she muttered, a hint of desperation in her voice. "Something that can connect us to Aditi..."

Karan, who was standing by a shelf filled with ancient grimoires, suddenly stopped, pulling out a large, weathered tome. "Abhay, I think I found it!" He opened it, revealing intricate diagrams of elemental magic and a chapter on dimensional portals. "It says here that to reach Aditi, we need to combine our powers in a way that can balance and counteract the black magic surrounding her."

Abhay's jaw tightened. "What does it say about the portal? Can it be created with fire, air, and earth magic alone?"

"Yes," Vidhi replied, skimming through the lines. "But to stabilize it... we'll need water energy, something that represents life and healing. That's why we need Aditi's essence itself to complete the connection."

Vivaan joined them, his eyes resolute. "We don't have much time. If Yug's black magic is as powerful as it sounds, Aditi won't last long in his world."

Abhay nodded. "Let's do it then. Vidhi, Vivaan, we'll combine our powers. I'll give it everything I have."

Together, they stood in a tight circle, hands extended. Abhay's fingers crackled with flames, Vidhi's hands swirled with cool air, and Vivaan summoned the strength of the earth, his aura grounding them. Slowly, the elements converged, creating a shimmering portal that pulsed with energy. Abhay glanced back at his friends, determination hardening his features.

"Once we step in, there's no turning back," he said. "We find Aditi, and we bring her home."

With a final nod, they stepped through the portal, emerging into a strange, shadowed realm. The air was thick, almost suffocating, and dark mist coiled around them. Ahead, they saw Aditi, holding her own in a fierce battle with Yug. The black magic wielder's face twisted into a sick smile as he hurled blasts of dark energy toward her.

"Aditi!" Abhay shouted, his voice echoing in the eerie silence.

Aditi turned, relief flashing in her eyes, but Yug merely laughed. "So, the cavalry arrives," he sneered. His voice was oily, grating against the darkness around them. "No matter. More souls to destroy."

Abhay's hands ignited with intense flames, casting an otherworldly glow around him. "Yug," he said, his voice laced with fury, "you've taken it too far. Let her go, or face me."

Yug smirked, his eyes narrowing. "Oh, I think I'll choose the second option." With a roar, he launched a sphere of darkness directly at Abhay. Abhay dodged, his flames countering the dark blasts, searing away the shadows.

Vidhi, hovering nearby, unleashed gusts of wind to clear the mist, while Vivaan stomped his foot, causing the ground to shake and crack beneath Yug's feet. Yug stumbled but retaliated quickly, sending blasts of dark energy at all three of them, forcing them to defend themselves in an intense dance of light and dark.

As Abhay fought, he noticed Aditi struggling to stay on her feet, her strength waning. He shouted to her, "Aditi! Hold on! We're here to end this."

Aditi, breathing heavily, managed a weak smile. "About time... I was getting tired of his face."

Yug snarled, hurling another bolt of dark magic toward her, but Abhay intercepted it, the impact sending him skidding backward. Abhay glared at Yug, his eyes blazing. "You don't get to hurt her," he growled, stepping forward with renewed fury.

Spotting an ancient, magical sword half-buried in the ground, Abhay lunged forward, grabbing the weapon. He turned to Yug, holding the sword high. "Your end is here."

With a roar, Abhay charged. They clashed in a fiery explosion, Abhay's sword meeting Yug's dark energy in a burst of light and shadow. The battle was fierce, each strike sending shockwaves through the realm. Abhay fought relentlessly, pushing Yug back, his every move calculated, precise, fueled by his love for Aditi and his need to protect her.

Finally, with one last surge of strength, Abhay drove the sword into Yug's heart. Yug's body convulsed, dark energy seeping out of him as he collapsed to the ground, his power fading into nothingness.

But as Abhay stood victorious, the sword in his hand began to tremble, its glow turning from brilliant to sinister. Suddenly, it swung toward Aditi, as though it had taken on a life of its own. Abhay's eyes widened in horror as he tried to pull it back.

"No!" he yelled, struggling against the sword's pull. It was as if the blade itself had been cursed, now set on harming Aditi. "Aditi, get back!"

Aditi looked at him, fear flashing in her eyes, but then something shifted in her expression. She reached out, grabbing the sword from his hands, her strength surprising him. "I'm not letting it take you," she said firmly, wrenching the weapon from his grasp.

Just as she freed him, Abhay stumbled, feeling the edge of the Death Well beneath his heels. Aditi's eyes filled with terror as she realized where he stood. She reached out to him, tears brimming in her eyes. "Abhay, please—don't let go."

He looked at her, his gaze softening, a mixture of love and sorrow filling his eyes. "Aditi... I need you to live. To be safe. I've always loved you." His voice dropped to a whisper. "I love you, Aditi."

Before she could react, he pushed her toward Karan, who caught her as she stumbled back. She reached for him, but it was too late—Abhay let himself fall, sliding into the depths of the Death Well, his figure disappearing into the endless darkness.

Aditi screamed, struggling against Karan's hold, tears streaming down her face as she watched him vanish.

"Abhayyyyy" she said and fainted. The sword went behind Abhay into the death well.

Karan held Aditi close to his chest in pain of losing his best friend. The whole place felt as if it was crying in the loss of their king.
