Chasing Fame (Part Two of Marley and Taylor Sequel)

Album Promotion

Marley's Pov:

We got the Album completed now it was just a matter of getting everyone to see and hear a Few of the Songs before the Album got released. Taylor said a great way to do that would be to play some of the new Music at my next Show and it would make the Fans go and Buy my Album at the Merch Truck.

It would take some time for the Album to made and then sent to us so I can Sign some Copies then we would have to Package the Albums to Ship out. Taylor's Merch Team would also help sell my Merch Stuff on my personal Website. My website wasn't anything too Fancy it mostly Advertised my new Album and it showed you could also order Merch online.

I am grateful to be on better terms with Tree. She has been honest about how she really has changed for the better ever since she was Fired by Taylor. And Taylor had seen this change in her to give her another chance as a Publicist and Taylor told her to not not screw things up with me or her ever again and Tree had promised to not screw up again. She really came through for us and helped us get rid of that awful girl Tina.

Tree is also playing a good Role of also helping me out with my incoming Merch she has been the one getting Merch Ideas that we thought up of to the Place that makes it same place that does Taylor's Merch and she said it should arrive when we do our next Show Date. The Fans would be excited to see that the next Show Date that I finally have some Merch.

Now we were trying to decide when would be the right time to release my Debut Album we were still Touring and it would be tricky to determine when I could Promote the Album. Taylor looked at the Calendar on her Desk in the Studio "Um, how bout we release your Debut Album let's say about Middle of October? It can be like on October 14 or 15 something like that".

Marley listened to her Sister "That sounds good to me I was thinking it should be a Self Titled Album like the way you and other Artists do when they first start out". She says feeling excited when they talk about her Debut Album it's something that she's always looked forward to doing. And now that she is getting to do this with her Sister and Jack Antonoff as the Producers, it really is happening.

Taylor liked my idea and nodded with a smile "That's what it's going to be called a Self Titled Debut Album now all that's left to do to finish it off and do the Album Cover and Booklet PhotoShoot then it'll be packed up after it's in its CD Jewel Case. We should also sell Vinyls of your Album to that way Fans can also purchase that".

I nodded while listening to Taylor it all sounded good to me and so we went with Taylor's plan in promoting the Album and soon our Meeting with Jack was done. We decided to go back to Taylor's Apartment which is in New York not far from the Recording Studio. I was surprised that Taylor still had her New York City Apartment I went with her to different Homes she owned mainly because we lived together.

We went inside and suddenly I was so hungry my stomach rumbled. Taylor heard this and laughed "I hear that your Hungry how bout I make us some Turkey Club Sandwiches for Lunch?"I nodded at this point I was hungry enough to eat anything. Even if it's just some Snack. I joined her in the Kitchen after greeting the Cats and washing my hands I helped her make the Sandwich and we talked.

"I really have enjoyed being in the Recording Studio with you and Jack. Everything I have learned is just so fascinating now I know how you record your new Albums and your Re-Recordings and watching everything in action just completely Amazes me. I can learn so much just by watching you two". I began to help her cook the Bacon in a Air Fryer Toaster and the Bread.

Taylor is happy to know that I enjoy being at the Recording Studio. She's even asked me to sing Backing Vocals on Future upcoming Albums since I did so well on 1989, Midnights, and The Tortured Poets Department. The more I go to the Studio the more I learn about what to do as a Singer and that's the experience I need. My Mind must have seemed to wondered off too far because then Taylor snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Something bothering you Mars? You seemed real happy one moment then your mind seemed elsewhere".We finished making the Sandwiches then went to the Livingroom to eat them. We usually used the Dining Area when we had Meals at Night or in the Morning.

My mind had wondered back to Tree I wondered if hiring her as my Publicist was the right thing to do. Even though we had mended things between each other and are getting  along better, I still had Insecurities about Tree. "I know it probably sounds stupid, but I still have Insecurities and doubts about Tree. What if she goes back to being her old Self and makes fun of me again? I'm just not sure I can go through that again".

Taylor then gave me a comforting hug. "I completely understand you still have doubts. Me and my Parents do to we aren't going into this Blind. But Tree seems like she has changed for the better she hasn't done anything Stupid like she used to and she wants to be a part of helping you succeed as a Singer Marley. I truly believe she's trying her best to be your Friend and not your Enemy."
