Marley Meets Amos

Few Months Later

Taylor's Fourth Of July Party
Rhode Island NY

Marley's Pov:

Before we did the next Show Dates of the Tour Taylor had her Annual Fourth of July Party at her Mansion in Rhode Island it was nice to be back there and is a very Peaceful Place. I wasn't exactly in the Party Mood but I started to cheer up when Selena, Blake, and Abigail showed up just so they could check up on me. Out of all Taylor's Friends, I felt the most comfortable around them. When they showed up they tried to cheer me up by talking about other things such as the Tour, and if I was doing anything at Home to pass the time by.

Having them and Taylor being there for me really helped me more than they ever knew. Just having them to lean on and talk about things meant everything to me. More People began to show up for the 4th of July Party, the rest of the Band and the Dancers showed up. Jess came to the Party and said she couldn't wait to meet everyone and so she could go out to the Pool. I went to the Kitchen to go help my Sister and Mom with the Food to help bring it outside and almost bumped into Amos Heller Taylor's Guitarist and made him spill his Drink.

"Oh my Gosh.. I'm so sorry about that I really need to watch where I'm going". Marley looked up and their eyes slowly met she had seen him perform onstage before and met him Briefly but they didn't have long to talk. "Don't worry about it, I can get another. Your Marley right? I am so sorry to hear about what happened to Brian". He offered his condolences.

Marley smiled at him grateful that he was being polite about Brian and giving his heartfelt condolences "Thank you I've been trying to move on but it hasn't been easy". She noticed that Amos had a sympathetic expression towards her and something told her that he had been through something similar and she as right when he started to speak.

"I know how you feel. I lost my Former Wife due to a Horrible Car Crash a few Years ago. I'm now currently raising our Son by myself and I never thought I'd move on but you will move on by taking things one Day at a Time. I know it might seem impossible to move on now but it will happen.Someday you will find someone just as Amazing as Brian."

Taylor's Pov:

Taylor had been listening in on Amos and Marley talking. She was trying to play Match Maker and wanted to set them two up as a Couple. Amos knew what it was like to deal with a Tragic Loss and she thought he'd be a good person for Marley to lean on and talk to. And she had been right they were both talking about experiencing terrible losses.

She watched as they grabbed some Drinks and walked to where everyone else was outside around the Pool Area and had sat next to each other and talking. Taylor had tried to get Marley to try some Dating Apps but she couldn't find anyone Appealing that she could be interested in. Amos was in her Band so if the Two started Dating they would be able to see each other a lot.

"So how's the Match Making thing going?"asked Melanie one of her Starlight Backup Singers who is also close Friends with Marley as they both look at her with concern.

"So far, so good I just let Amos try to do most of the talking. He has told me he's very Interested in Marley and wants to ask her out and I told him to ease into trying to to ask her out and that she's still having a hard time getting over the loss of Brian". Taylor watches her Sister carefully with Amos.

Both of them seemed to be enjoying each other's Company and Amos told Marley about his Son Lucas who enjoyed getting into Mischief which caused Marley to laugh and smile. Taylor hasn't seen Marley smile much since Brian's Death.

What made us hold our breath was when Amos leaned in to give Marley a hug and told her that everything will be okay and that he wanted to show her that everything would by taking her out on a Date to have Dinner with him soon and they could pick a Movie to Watch.

Taylor had been holding her breath she watched Marleys reaction which seemed surprised at first and then she looked like she was trying to figure out what to say. Marley agreed to go out with Amos she has decided that it was time to move on.She needed to be happy again and sitting at Home moping wasn't going to help things.
