Chasing Fame (Part Two of Marley and Taylor Sequel)

More than Ready

Marley's Pov:

I still can't believe that Amos had asked me out on a Date. He said that he has been admiring me while watching me Sing with Taylor and the other Starlights onstage and he said that I had a wonderful Stage presence and that the Fans even liked me. He said my own Music was so good that it was going to take me Far in Life.

I was in my Bedroom at Taylor's House trying to decide what to wear for the Evening even though we were just going to Dinner and trying to catch a Movie I wanted to wear something nice. Amos found  a Outdoor Movie place where you could park a Vehicle and listen to the Movie in the Movie Soundbox.

There wasn't that many Outdoor Movie places around hardly anymore all that was left today was Indoor Stadium Movie Theaters. But Amos had found one in a Charming Small Town not far from where Taylor lived. I chose a Black Mini Dress that Buttoned up and Taylor came in to help me put Waves in my Dark Brown Hair she used one of the Styling Curlers she had to put Waves in my Hair.

We did a lot of things together a lot more ever since we found out we were Fraternal Twins. We helped each other get ready for Dates and even borrowed each other's Clothes. I still kept my Hair Dark Brown by Dyeing it Every time it needed dyeing. I watched as she began to curl my Hair and our eyes glanced at each other and she knew what I was thinking. It had been awhile since I had been on any Date the last time was with Brian. That had been awhile.

"So how are you feeling about Amos asking you out on a Date? Do you feel like you are ready to start Dating again?" She asked me then looked at me with concern in her eyes.

I thought a moment before trying to find the right thing to say. "I'm ready more than I thought I would be. I used to think I wouldn't find happiness again after what happened with Brian, it took me awhile to get past that. I just didn't click with anyone else until I met Amos he totally gets what I'm going through because he lost his former Wife to. I connect with him on so many levels".

Taylor smiled back at me she really was happy that me and Amos were Dating a little too happy that is. Did she have something to do with us getting together? That wouldn't surprise me.My Sister had been trying to get me to go on Dates even went as far as trying to have me meet other People that she knew.

"I knew that you would be ready soon to Date. And grieving for Brian for three Months is something you have done. But he would want you to move on Marley and would want you to be happy. Life is too short to not try to Love again. And you and Amos would make an Adorable Couple and you both work for me so you wouldn't have problems seeing each other."

Marley smiled back at her Sister "Amos is really wonderful and he makes me feel special when I'm around him.And his Son has really taken to liking me to". Not long after Taylor helped her get ready Marley put on her Makeup and then was ready to meet up with Amos at 7 pm he was coming to Taylor's House to pick her up for their Date.
