Hi guys! I have rephrased the summary. I also thought it would be a better idea if Nicholas arrived a few days after Ava does instead of a full year. So...watch out for him in the couple of chapters. The image is what Mia is wearing. I still haven't found actress to play Mia so if you have any suggestions add them in the comments. Thanks!

(She arrived at her new school)
I stared out my mum's car window. The school was enormous. I am definetly going to get myself lost. I turned my attention back to my mum, she looked as interested as I was. I cleared my throat trying to get her attention. She slowly looked over to me smiling.
"Well, what are your first thoughts?" I asked curiously. I tried to read her expression as she looked back at the school. She looked like she was happy but my mum was unpredictable.
"I think it looks great. Big, I will admit but you will settle in. How about you?" She asked. I thought for a second. I looked at the school to see a happy environment.
"It looks...inviting" I said after a minute. I looked at my mum to see a skeptical expression. I smiled, trying to ease her nervousness. "Seriously mum, don't worry. It seems friendlier than my old school. I will be fine" I said benevolently.
"I'm sure you are going to like the school too" mum said. She gave a warm, reassuring smile. "Okay, you should head off now. Don't want to be late on your first day, do we? Do you want me to come as well?" she asked. I could sense her nervousness arising again.
I chuckled at her, she is even more nervous than I am right now. "Mum, I will be fine! I am gonna go now. Bye" I said as I opened my arms for a hug. She smiled and gave me a tight hug. I mean really tight, I thought I was going to suffocate. "Okay, I should go" I said in between withered breaths.
She finally let go, quite resistantly may I add. "Bye dear" she said with a broad smile. I smiled in return and opened the car door. I stepped out onto the lush, green grass. Before I shut the door, I waved at my mum one last time. I heaved a sigh and starting heading towards the school. My heart started beating faster as more and more students turned to look at me with intrigued stares. They must not get new students often. I looked down as I tried to avoid eye contact. Briskly, I made my way up the stairs to the main doorway. I had my timetable emailed to me this morning. I shuffled through my bag as I looked for the sheet of paper. I finally brought the crumpled piece of paper out and headed inside. I pulled the strap of my backpack up securely on my shoulder and walked past the lockers. The sounds of greetings and conversation drifted around me.
"Mia, Mia!" the name quickly caught my attention. I inspected everyone's faces as I tried to find Mia's. The sight of a beautiful girl came into my sight as she made her way past everyone's bodies. Mia was drop dead gorgeous . She had dirty blonde hair that tumbled past her shoulders and stopped at her hips. Her hair was wavy, the nice kind if wavy, the beachy kind. She wore a black and white striped cropped top, similar to mine although it was off the shoulder. She had a black chunky belt around her acid washed boyfriend jeans cupped at the bottom. Mia finished her outfit off with white chunky sandals with a big heel. Her makeup was a subtle look, although you could tell she had makeup on. I think that was what she was going for.
Everyone looked at her, mesmorised just for the slightest of moments. They all hastily turned their attention away as she looked around smiling. She really did look like a goddess at that moment.
I wasn't quite sure what to do. She was just standing a few meters away, chatting with her friends. Mia looked friendly enough, but the thought of her not being able to recognise me popped in my head. I was staring at her for a few moments, she must of sensed it because her eyes anchored her attention on me. She studied my face for a few moments and tilted her face as her brows furrowed in thought. "Ava?" she asked sounding bewildered. My mouth twitched into a smile at her recognition of my face.
