I stepped out of the Tesla car. The soft humidity welcomed me immediately. I stood there and took my surroundings in awe. Wow, was this boy's family filthy rich. It was a mansion to call it at the least. The garden looked like it had multiple carers taking care of it. The house alone looked fit for a very spoiled king. I wondered how he was going to end up cleaning the place after this, but that is what servants are for. Trust me, he must have some.
"Massive, right?" Mia asked as she stood next to me, linking my arm through hers. I nodded as I got out of my trance. Mia's car was parked on the side of the road, since there were a heap of cars inside. I instantly heard the music blasting from here and there were a bunch of teenagers standing outside already in a drunken state. This was going to be one hell of a party.
"Okay, come on girlies. Lets get our groove on!"Emily yelled as she threw her hands up in the air. I wouldn't be surprised if she was already drunk.
"Before I get my 'groove on' I need to call Imogen to check when she's coming. You guys go ahead" Isabel said, as she pulled out her phone.
"Okay" I said, while the others replied with a nod or an incoherent answer. I felt a tug on my hand and turned to see Lauren smiling gleefully at me. I smiled back and pulled her along behind Mia, who was far ahead now. She looked eager to get in. As we neared the doorway the music made it even more difficult to hear anything else. The alcohol smell blasted my senses as I stepped inside.
"Okay I am just going to go and look for something interesting! Are you girls going to be okay?" Mia yelled at the top her lungs. I gave her a thumbs up. She hastily gave us a bear hug and walked off into the area where everyone is dancing....well I think that is what they considered dancing, I saw it as groping. Nearly all the girls are throwing themselves at the boys with their cleavage showing. So...this is what people do at parties. I looked to my right to see Emily and Lauren already in deep conversation with each other, as if they had been friends for years. I couldn't help but smile. I walked over to them and slung my arms around their shoulders.
"I am going to look around okay...or I might just hide in the corner. I don't know, either way I am leaving the entrance" I yelled. I am not sure if they heard me correctly since the music was so loud because they just smiled at me. I shrugged it off and walked through the hallway. I spotted the man of the hour, Luke. He seemed to be quite drunk as he kissed a brunette hungrily. I turned away feeling slightly disguised. Maybe there is somewhere I could just seat and wait, yeah that is what I am going to do. I walked around to see a single seat placed on the carpeted floor. Hastily, I made my way to the seat. I put one leg over the other and slouched in my seat. Everyone in this area were either kissing or half dead, they were no use. I brought out my phone and tried finding internet. Unfortunately, no one around here is friendly enough to offer free internet. I groaned and started looking through my dumb apps.
"Ava" I heard a voice calling over the loud music. Well it is hard to tell, maybe it was someone yelling 'a vase' or 'wava' . I looked up anyway to see Jack and a messed up Luke with a few other boys coming my way. Oh no. I forced a smile on my face and turned my phone off. I waved at Luke and Jack as the other boys left their own ways.
"I want that seat" Luke said pouting as they came over. I looked around to see plenty of empty seats around the room. I raised an eyebrow at him and crossed my arms.
"Take another seat, because you aren't getting this one" I said strongly. Luke slung his arm around Jack and leaned on him lazily. Jack pointed at Luke and mouthed 'crazy'. I smiled at him. "You have quite the house Luke" I said as I tired to get his mind off the chair. He nodded his head casually.
"I really need that chair Ava, please" Luke whined. I rolled my eyes jokingly.
"There is a heap of chairs go get one lazy bones" I said.
