POV Minho

This day at Music Bank has drained me. I love being an MC, but I have to admit, sometimes it feels like a chore when I'm tired.

I close my eyes for a few seconds, then crash to the ground as I bump into something at my feet. I immediately open my eyes, sitting on the floor, and see a black and brown silhouette running away.

- "Lyca! Come back!"

I startle and turn towards the voice, which turns out to be Shizuka. She stops in front of me before asking:

- "What are you doing on the floor? Is the ground comfortable?"

- "I tripped over a cat," I mutter as I get up.

She grabs my shoulders and shakes me slightly.

- "Was it a tortoiseshell?"

I nod, and she jumps on the spot.

- "Quick, I need to catch her!"

I watch her run off and shrug. The agency is just two meters away, and I have to admit, I'd prefer to sleep right now.

I reach the door and search for my keys. Which I can't find.

- "Damn it, they're in my room."

I remember Changbin locked it behind me, and I stand there like an idiot trying to figure out what to do. I call the members one by one, but none of them answer. The only time they decide to go to bed early is when I'm locked out.

Turn around, this time to find Shizuka. I'll ask her for her keys and help her with her cat.

- "Shizuka!" I exclaim when I see her crouched near a bush. She motions for me to be quiet, but it's too late; her cat runs off again.

- "Help me, and please, don't shout," she mimics.

So there we are, both running outside in the dark, after a cat that seems to really enjoy this game. We stop when we realize we've lost her, but then I point to a statue nearby, where her cat is sitting, looking at us as if to say, "You fools, try to catch me if you can."

I love cats, but this one is definitely determined to disrupt my sleep.

- "Lyca, come here," Shizuka urges, making noises to lure her, to no avail.

- "Do you want me to carry you?"

She looks at me for a moment, then nods, and I help her reach her cat. It's the closest we've ever been, and it's happened naturally.

Turns out, I like this cat after all.

- "Thank you," she says as she touches the ground again.

We start the journey back in the quiet of the night, but the uncomfortable silence prevents me from enjoying the moment.

- "Do you like cats?"

I turn to Shizuka and nod.

- "I have three. Sonnie, Doongie, and Dori."

Another silence.

- "Do you like Romeo and Juliet?"

She looks surprised before laughing.

- "I like the plot of the story, why?"

I raise my eyebrows, surprised.

- "I didn't think you'd like it."

She closes her eyes for a moment before explaining:

- "The plot is nice. Two soulmates who can't be together. I find it beautiful how they could have ended up together, but sad that they didn't. And then, the families reconciled, thanks to them."
