Mia kept making strokes and trying so hard to join them together and make a unique design out of it. It was very frustrating that she didn't seem to be coming up with anything important. She threw her head back on the chair and looked up at the ceiling.

"Giving up already?"

"Goddess!" She exclaimed.

She was so tired of anyone barging in as they liked while she was just stuck there. She looked at the doorway and saw Miram standing there.

She stood up immediately.

Miram scoffed and walked down from the stairs.

"I see that you're working so hard to make your plans a success but honestly, let me give you some advice, don't work so hard because in the end, war is inevitable." She said,

Mia just stood without looking at Miram's face or responding to her jabs.

"Why don't you just leave while you have the chance because things can get really ugly for you here." She said,

Mia looked at her, "why are you so eager for me to leave?"

Miram scoffed, "you even bother to ask me."

She sighed deeply but dramatically, "let's just say I'm doing what girls would do for themselves. I'm trying to protect you."

Mia found that very hard to believe especially with the way Miram had been making her life particularly difficult at the palace.

"Anyways, I hope you realize that it's a week already and you're nowhere near making anything important. Aaron will have your head if you don't do anything important." She said and chuckled lightly,

"Carry on with what you're doing." She said and left out the door.

Mia sighed and watched her retreating figure. She decided that she needed to step out like Justice had said. But she was ordered to only stay in the workshop. She resolved her mind and took a cloak she saw hanging on one the shelves. It was very old and dusty but then again, it would do. She didn't mind all that.

She draped it over her head and made her way out of the workshop with the piece or parchment and the quill firm in her grip. She walked through the small settlements. She saw some interesting things but none sparked anything in her. She decided to go deep into the forest.

"Arrrrgh." She yelled in frustration as she sat at the stomp of a big tree.

"Maybe I shouldn't have said anything. I should have just let all of them die. After all, they also caused me pain and so easily rejected me." She said to herself.

Mia felt very empty and she didn't even know when the time had passed by. The moon was already raised high in the sky and that was when she realized that she shouldn't be out of the workshop.

She quickly rushed out of the forest having achieved nothing. She silently entered the workshop and closed the door silently. She sighed and she removed the hood from her head.

"Everyone is looking for you."

She jumped, "you all have got to stop doing that!" She exclaimed.

She slowly turned around to look at who said that.

She saw Aaron sitting in her chair.

"Um..."

"Don't bother saying anything." He said and looked at her from where he sat.

She looked down.

He was fighting his wolf and trying so hard to control himself as he looked at the fragile and beautiful Mia standing in front of him.

"I gave you three weeks. What week is it now?" He asked.

Mia didn't have the courage to reply to him. He stood up and walked up to her. She stepped back with each step he took.

"A week will be over by tomorrow Mia. What are you going to do?" He asked.

Mia bit her lips. She didn't dare to look at him. He used his index to tilt her head but even as he did her eyes diverted downwards.

"Look at me Mia." He urged but she kept looking downwards.

"Now, Mia." He said with a low rumble in his throat.

Mia slowly lifted her eyes to meet him. He sucked in a great deal of breath.

"I asked you a question."

"I don't know what to say. Honestly I can't tap into that creativity." She lamented.

He sighed and let her go. Then he turned his back to her. He did it to control the boiling passion that seemed to be taking control as he continued to stare at her.

"You were always so creative and honestly I am hoping that you succeed at this because it won't only avert the war, it will also make me very powerful," he paused and looked at ger and flashed her a small smile,

Mia felt something jerk in her chest by just looking at his smile.

"And I'll have you to thank for that."

He exhaled and turned fully to face her.

"Just think about something or someone you love very much. Use that as a muse. Use it as a means to tap into your inner creativity."

He trailed his fingertips over her face, "you used to be so lively but now, all of that seems to have changed. Tell me Mia, just what have they done to you."

Mia felt like her breath was leaving her and the way he looked at her, it was so intense that it felt like he was baring her soul to him. She felt suffocated but also loved the suffocation.

"Why do I feel this way around you? Why are you trying so hard to break the walls that I have built so high up in my heart after his rejection?" She thought solemnly to herself as her eyes roamed his face.

His slight touch and the way his fingers trailed her skin felt very hot on her skin and it was awakening places that it shouldn't.

She pushed him away abruptly but gently and released the breath she didn't know she was holding in.

"You don't need to worry. I'll make something soon. My three week deadline isn't over yet." She said with determination.

"If that is so, then good luck."
