Mia found herself walking endlessly in a forest with no end in sight. She was getting very weak and tired. Her knees had already become wobbly and there seemed to be friction against her joints and her legs suddenly felt very heavy. It was getting hard to walk anymore. She lowered her back and placed her hands on her knees to try to steady her breathing.

She let out a very heavy breath and then stood up to scan the area.

"Where am I?" She asked no one in particular, as she was the only one there anyway, "there's no fu*king end to this damn forest and how did I get here in the first place?" She asked herself as confusion washed over her.

She turned back to see if there was a path that led back to the pack and that's when she realized, "when did I leave the pack in the first place?"

Her brows furrowed and a crease appeared on the top of her head as she suddenly felt like the strength in her body was sapped from her entire system.

Her hands flew to her head as she tried to keep herself steady. Her eyes closed shut as she tried to make the queasiness she suddenly felt, go away.

She opened her eyes after a few seconds, but the feeling wasn't gone. Her vision became blurred and it seemed like the earth was spinning below her.

She looked ahead in the midst of her dizziness and saw something in the distance, hiding behind the tall bushes in a far part of the forest. Just a little far from where she was standing, battling with the dizziness that came to rest on her suddenly.

Her eyes were reduced to a squint as she struggled to see what was hiding in the distance ahead.

"What-" she muttered weakly and took a shaky step forward.

Its amber eyes flashed in the moonlight and her breath caught in her throat.

A wolf!

Was it a rogue? How did she get here? Where was the way out?

All the questions that turned around in her mind were questions that seemed very hard to answer and the more she thought of it the more her head hurt and the more she felt very dizzy and weak.

The bushes moved and she saw the wolf take a step forward, towards her.

It was a fully transformed werewolf. It took on its complete wolf form. No halfs like normal werewolves.

As it took a step forward, its silver fur glittered under the light of the full moon that aided her vision.

Her breath caught in her throat and apprehension filled her entire system. Her legs felt even more shaky than it was when she felt very tired and as she tired to run, it felt rooted to the spot. Unable to move or take a step, she closed her eyes as she anticipated the inevitable, dying by the claws of a strange wolf in a very strange territory.

She closed her eyes, took in a deep breath and then waited patiently for the teeth of the wolf to sink into her skin. It was at this point that she realized how powerless and useless she was without her wolf.

Some seconds passed and she was still breathing. She opened her eyes to see the wolf, majestic, beautiful and very tall, standing some meters away from her.

She watched on with absolute palpable fear eminent in her posture and visible in her wide eyes. But the wolf didn't step any further. The soft wind kissed its fur, gently swaying it in different directions on its body with a very soft and smooth movement that seemed ethereal.

She guessed it might not be as dangerous as she thought it would and tried to reach for it. She stretched her hand and tried to touch the wolf but she couldn't even when it was so close to her, she still couldn't reach it.
