Mia has faced a lot of cruelty growing up so she should get used to  being treated poorly and being disrespected or embarrassed. Even if someone didn't embarrass her, she always ended up embarrassing herself. However, this particular act by Miram has Mia feeling so shocked and annoyed.

The fact that she is weak and cannot match Miram's strength since Miram is a full blooded werewolf and even had the blood of an Alpha running through her veins, only made Mia feel even more miserable and annoyed.

Mia looked down like she was told to by Miram. She was doing her possible best to avoid any trouble until she was able to find a way out of the palace. But deep in her heart even as she acted gullible and naive, she hated Miram deeply because of this one act.

Miram closed her eyes and took in a deep breath, then she opened her eyes and scoffed mockingly, "Aaron's guest? You must be kidding me. Not while I'm here in this palace. Even Aaron answers only to me and I will not stand for this."

Miram then walked up very close to Mia and bent down to whisper in her ears as she was taller than Mia was.

"If I were you, I'd be counting the days before I get buried six feet under the ground without my head sitting on my neck because trust me darling, that will be your fate as long as you choose to remain in this palace and even within this territory."

Mia's blood boiled but she decided to just hold it in and play the maturity card. It would only be more embarrassing if she talked back to Miram and her troubles would only increase.

Miram then stood up straight and straightened her hair, "Justice, come with me." She ordered and walked in the opposite direction from where Mia stood.

Justice looked at Mia for a few seconds, she could see worry etched in his face but it was gone as soon as it appeared and then he left her to meet with Miram.

Mia felt the eyes of many maids watching her as she just stood there feeling very embarrassed.

"Well, why are you all staring? Get back to work." Celia's voice rang in the hallway just where the entrance of the kitchen was.

Mia's fist clenched at her sides and then she walked back to her room with shame burning her cheeks causing it to become a deep tinge of pink.

Miram walked with Justice back to her room.

"Shut the door behind you." She commanded.

He did as he was instructed.

"Just what do you know about that..." She paused and held her breath before letting it out to ease the anger that was brewing inside her even at the mere thought of Mia.

"Tell me everything you know about her." She demanded.

"Unfortunately Luna, I don't know anything. All I know is that one day, the Alpha suddenly ordered that Mia should come to the palace and made her stay even against her will." He replied.

She scoffed and waved her hands in the air dramatically, "she's such a good actress. 'Against her will,' you say? Any female would readily throw themselves at Aaron because of what they have to gain and trust me that's a whole lot." She responded.

"She's not from around here." Justice said and this piqued at Miram's interest.

She turned around to look at justice, the ends of her soft and long silky peach dress, kissing the floor as she walked slowly towards him.

She smirked and circled around him looking at him intently like a predator stalking its prey only that, the way she looked at him was in a seductive manner. Justice remained rooted in his spot, not moving an inch, not even flinching from how intense her gaze was on him.

"Where is she from?" She asked sensually.

Justice did not make any expression nor did he reveal anything tangible.

"No one knows that aside from Aaron. You should ask him." Justice replied. His voice, void of any emotions.

Miram made a low sound in her throat, "if he would answer me then I would but I think we both know that he won't."

Miram then sighed and smiled sweetly at Justice, "Do you think you can help me?"

"And how do you want me to be of help to you Luna?" He asked.

"It's very simple. I just want you to get as much information as you can from her. If you can charm her and make her fall for you, that would be even better that way, I won't have to spill any blood to keep her away from Aaron." Miram replied.

She was batting her eyes at Justice and the way her long black lashes sweeped effortlessly over her face, should be enough to make any male do her bidding. Her eyes were very seductive.

Aaron once treasured those eyes and maybe even more werewolf males. One can never really tell with Miram.

Justice looked at her with a straight face. There was no hint of emotions that depicted that he was affected by her sensuality.

She then moved so close to him. Any more steps she would take closer to him and their bodies would touch each other. Her upper body part would graze his strong and hard chest and they might...or maybe not.

He swallowed hard. When she saw this, she smiled and moved away from him turning her back to him and walking towards her dresser,

"I think we both have mutual understanding now, don't we?" She asked.

"I know just how loyal you are to Aaron. I know of your history with him and how you will do everything to please him but--" she turned to face him with a scented candle in her hand that wasn't lit which she had picked up from the dresser table.

Her long nails, beautiful and perfectly manicured, wrapped around it. She twirled it and focused her gaze on it.

"--in the end," she stopped twirling it and looked at him,

"You will answer to me and do my bidding. Isn't that right, Justice?" She asked and flashed him a beautiful smile.

He bowed slightly and left.

Miram was out for blood. She was determined to do all that she could to make sure Mia finds it very difficult to live.
