Ashtyn

This has been the best trip of my life.

The World Trade Center monument and museum was so freaking cool yet sad. We had a great time. Yesterday we went on a boat tour around the Statue of Liberty and I never realized how tall it was.

Well, today is New Year's Eve and we haven't done nothing. We walked around Times Square earlier...well tried. New York is too crowded for me. It's a beautiful city, but there's just way too many people.

It was almost midnight and all of us were outside on the balcony, looking over the huge crowd of people. Ethan and Ezra seem to get along pretty well, which is good. They say hey to each other every time they pass.

I really want to kiss him...Ezra, obviously.

These past 5 days we've grown really close to each other and I'm finally comfortable enough around him to take my shirt off without hesitation. He still sleeps with his on every now a then, but I don't mind, it's what he feels better in.

I'm just really glad he opened up to me like he did.

"Well, how's your trip been?" Ashlyn asked me, sipping her wine. "It's been amazing. What about you?" "It's been really good. I can't believe he's done all of this." She smiled, looking over at Ezra.

The balcony was just big enough to not be able to hear each others conversations clearly, so I have no idea what they're talking about.

"Me either. He barely even let me pay for his 20 dollar vegetables the other day, it's a miracle I got him to agree to it. Especially twice in one day." "Yeah, but I'm glad he did. I told him I'm going to pay for our lunch Tuesday."

"Good. Where are we going?" "Some type of deli. He wouldn't let me pay for dinner wednesday because he said it's going to be really really expensive. I told him I didn't care, but he said it was his idea so he has to pay for it."

"So you came up with the idea to go to lunch?" "I did, he just suggested a place." She sorta laughed. "Ah. Have you and Ethan talked about anything yet?" I crossed my legs.

"No, but we almost did." "Almost?" "Yeah, well I think. He said he had something he wanted to tell me, but he got too nervous and gave up. I think that's what they're talking about right now." She motioned toward the men.

I watched as Ezra listened to Ethan, fully focused on what he was saying. He's like a big brother who will actually sit down a let you talk about anything and he will listen, even if you think he's not.

He's always listening.

"How have you two been?" She asked, pulling me out of space. "We've been good. He's opened up to me about somethings." "Oh that's good." "Yeah, when I tell you that he was sculpted by the Gods, he was sculpted by the Gods." I whispered.

"Oh so did y'all like...you know?" She sat forward, excited to hear the information. "Uh no. We've only been dating for like two weeks." "So?" "What do you mean so?!" She sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Anyways, so you saw him shirtless?" She questioned. "Well obviously. He has some tattoos." I whispered, getting closer and she gasped. "You're so lucky. If he was older and not gay then I would def think he's cute...I'm not saying he's not cute, but he's cute like me as a grandma saying a baby is cute." She justified herself.

"I know." I sat back. "What does he have tatted?" "They're all pretty much related to his dad." "Oh, what about his dad?" She put her glass to her lips. "Well he passed away. I'll tell you about it later."
