Eden sat in the hospital bed as Frankie looked at her.
"I-I couldn't say anything with you not around, his mother was left in charge of Kole's estate." Frankie said and Eden nodded.
She had woken up two hours ago and had been told Kold was dead and their daughter did not make it. To top it off they had planned a funeral without her. With no intention of her getting her goodbye let alone their son.
Eden was stomaching all of that on top of hearing his mother had been spending Kold's money as if it was actually hers.
"How long have I been out?" She asked Frankie looked at her.
"A few days." Frankie hated to tell her and Edens tared.
"10 days." She admitted.
"King?" Eden asked and Frankie grabbed her hand.
"He was with her at first but he's with me and my kids." She said trying to reassure her.
Frankie had to put up a fight since Kole's mother tried to take claim to everything that was her son's.
"Get me to the house please." Eden said looking at the clock.
"What?" Frankie said and Eden sat up all the way.
"I don't give a fuck that she planned a funeral without me but I will not- not miss it." Eden said with a crack in her voice.
Frankie wasn't sure if it was even possible but with the look on Eden's face, she was going to make it happen.
Eden knew she should be alive right now.
She had a hole in the middle of her stomach, her shoulder and even her heart.
It didn't seem like it too much convincing because 10 minutes later Frankie returned with a nurse who she offered to pay for the day and the doctors reluctant permission.
It took some time but they headed from the hospital and to their house.
Eden noticed the suitcases that didn't belong, the pictures of their family already pulled down.
It only angered her but gave her the strength that she needed.
"Here." Frankie said helping her to their room.
It was obvious someone had been through their things but everything was there. Eden pointed Frankie to the closet and they headed inside. Eden quickly grabbed her clothes and Frankie asked for the nurse to help her shower.
Frankie didn't get why eden was determined but was sure that there was nothing she could tell her.
She had called her oldest and told them to ride with King since Eden refused for him not to be able to say goodbye.
Eden was sure of a few things, Kole loved them endlesslessly and whether it was a joke or not she would say goodbye just as she promised him.
The irony of them speaking of his death before it happened only made her feel as if they were at fault, that she was at fault.
So as she showered Eden cried loud and hard hoping to get it before the funeral.

Eden walked in, in a pair of Versace heels and a black dress and hat.
His favorite pieces of jewelry, or at least the ones she could find she put on along with last grill he had brought her.
It was very last minute but as she looked around, and just as she promised she was the baddest bitch with tears coming down her face.
Everyone turned but no one said a word.
