A few weeks had passed and Eden felt nauseous.

Really on days like this, she always felt sick.

It was two years to this day that she not only lost her daughter but the love of her life.

"You okay?" King came down dressed in a pair of shorts and a T-shirt.

"Yea, I'm fine." Eden straightened her posture.

"Today is always harder than his birthday?" King asked and she looked over to her little old wise man.

"It is." She admitted and he walked to her and gave her a hug.

"We will go see your father like normal and then I have a meeting." She said.

She normally wouldn't do meetings on days like today but it was last minute from some sort of big artist who wanted to work with her.

She mourned for Kold every day so today was just another day and another reminder that his killers roamed free.

They looked at the TV and saw the remembrance of Kold playing.

"Are the police even tryin?" King asked the same question she had.

For a year she hounded the police but they still did nothing. Eden had given up and since hired a private investigator. Still, nothing had come up but she would never stop fighting for justice for him and their unborn.

"Boy, let us go and enjoy this amazing day." She said and he smiled.

"Can I bring my toys?" He asked and she smiled.

"I thought you were too big and smart for them?" she reminded him of his last words to her and he shifted his eyes away.

"Hey you're smart King, you really are." She leaned down.

"Way smarter than me or your dad but you're still a kid. I want you to be that." She said rubbing his head and he nodded.

"So I can bring my toys?" He asked and she laughed.

"Yes, you can bring your toys." She said and he ran back up to his room and she smiled.

This morning was hard but King made it better.

Eden looked over at the flowers she had picked up for Kold and smirked.

They were the same ones he got on their first 'real' date out as a couple.

"You ready?" King said now holding his two favorite toys.

"I gotta tell Dad about Spiderman. You think he would have liked him too?" He asked and Eden smirked.

"He would have loved him." She said picking him up and he giggled.

"I've been cravin some good ol food and Frankie said she's cooking." Eden said and King smiled.

"Oh is she?" He said and she laughed.

"Let's go." She said sitting him down and grabbing the flowers.

"And Dad momma said that you said I'd be the smartest, guess what? I am," King bragged and Eden smiled.

They had been there for hours just talking to him as if he was there.

Per usual she shed some tears but she was able to smile remembering all the happiness he brought her.

She wondered often where they would be but she hated to dream a dream that could never be real.

She quickly wiped her tears and plastered a smile on her face.
