"What I say?" Marcus said as they all watched the prerecorded trial of Kold's estate lawsuit on the DVR in their living room.

It was probably the biggest room in the house and yet they still had a small tv in the corner.

"This nigga was so stand up." Marcus continued as he began clapping his hands in appreciation.

RJ nodded his head in agreement.

"He really loved that girl." Dolores said as they all watched the video of Kold requesting Eden to be left everything in his estate.

Caesar on the other hand wasnt really paying attention to the TV since his thoughts were elsewhere.

"And she didn't take a dime, left it all for their son." RJ said nodding his head as the watched Eden request the changes.

"That's why he made her his wife." Cannon their grandfather spoke and Caesar turned surprised just as everyone else.

"Who?" Caesar finally tuned in but everyone started to look to his grandfather.

As he looked at the TV it was turned off and he missed who everyone was talking about as everyone in the room turned from his grandfather to him.

"So you have a son?" His grandfather asked and everyone was quiet.

It was obvious in his absence they had talked about him, Caesar was sure his grandmother aired out all his business with him gone.

Caesar nodded.

He didn't dare ask Ocean for a DNA test since the subject of them having a son was a sensitive subject already.

Caesar chose to believe his sister's drunken truth and Ocean herself since she of all people had no reason to lie to him. The timeline added up with his birthday. Caesar could only recall him partying back then and he acted as if he didn't have a care in the world meanwhile Ocean hid her pregnancy and since had dealt with the side eyes from her family and father's congregation.

Looking at Zachary no one believed he was Caesar's either. That was until they got a glance at his eyes. Caesar would never know the ridicule or rumors Ocean had to face amongst her father's congregation but she stood tall with their son in tow.

Caesar sighed.

He had been in his thoughts since asking to meet Zachary.

Caesar was glad Ocean didn't give him up as she said she would. Instead, she endured her years of schooling with help from her family. That was something he was grateful for just as much as he was surprised, he wanted to make things right.

Caesar turned to look at the man who held some of his features.

He sat up straight and cleared his throat.

"Yes sir. He's about 6 in a few weeks." Caesar answered and everyone was quiet.

"So denied him or didn't know about him?" He asked and everyone looked at Caesar.

He had grown to learn the family was in everyone's business.

"To be honest?" He sighed.

He had no choice but to tell the truth, as everyone waited in silence.

Lies in this family were easy to spot.

"She came to see me a few years ago.. he was sleeping." He said and he turned the phone to everyone.

It was a picture of Zachary in his baseball uniform.

The chocolate little boy had their family smile and without a doubt Caesar's blue eyes.
