chapter 6: untrustworthy

"so what's your plans for tonight then?" i heard beth say to leah, they were sat on the table next to the table i was sat on

"well i've been kicked out of the house, haven't i" leah rolled her eyes playfully

"why?" beth laughed

"bloody kai is having lia over and i can't be there apparently" leah rolled her eyes again making beth laugh

when did they get so close? i thought the most kai and lia would do was just sleep together once... but now lia is coming over to spend time with kai together?

are they together? surely not... that's to quick and kai doesn't do relationships,  right?

that made me wince, reminding me of kai and my conversation the last time we saw each other.

that was just under a week ago now, and we still haven't talk to each other.

there's more to kai then she's letting on, she's hiding something from all of us and whatever it is i must have touched the topic of it in my rant at her that caused her to snap and kicked me out of the house.

i didn't listen to the rest of their conversation too busy thinking about lia and kai.

i'm jealous. lia gets to be the person i wanted to be with kai.

even if it's them sitting and watching a movie, they are actually spending time together and not just hooking up every time.

"hello" i said softly as i opened the door, wally stood on the doorstep

i pulled her into a hug before letting her in, closing the door behind her and taking her coat off her and hanging it up

"thank you" she smiled softly up at me

"so what movie we watching tonight then?" lia asked as she stopped closer to me, placing her hand onto my chest

"whatever you want, it's your choice" i smiled softly down at her, reaching down and interlocking our hands before dragging her to the living room

we got ourselves comfortable on the sofa, lia laying in between my legs.

we had snacks on the coffee table that i had placed out just before she came.

i reached over and grabbed the tv remote off the table and handed her the remote

"so what we watching then?" i asked, pressing a light kiss to her cheek, making her blush

lia soon decided on the notebook, she snuggled up to me as i pressed play.

"just stay here tonight" i groaned as i hugged lia tighter, not wanting her to stand up and leave

"i can't kai" lia laughed at my clingiest

"why not" i huffed like a baby, lia reached her hand up to my cheek and looked up at me softly

"because i have training tomorrow and all my kit is at home" lia said, pressing a soft kiss against my lips, i groaned but eventually loosened my grip on her, allowing her to stand up

i walked her to the door, hugging her one more time before watching as she made her way to her car

"text me when you get home" i said as she nodded with a smile before getting into her car.
