chapter 18: next step

i've never realised how stressful it is to move house.

when i moved down south i just easily slotted into leah's house, only taking a few things with me

but this was completely different, less and i had decided to move into a whole new house instead of me moving into her house

she said it wasn't fair that i had to move into her house, she said it would always be seen as her house with her things in it.

i also think the whole stalker thing played a massive part, she wanted to move away from there and find a new house so the stalker didn't have any idea where we now lived.

i didn't really mind as long as i was with her but she insisted that we do this journey together and move into a brand new house together and start fresh.

i kinda wish i just moved into her house as i would have been so much easier but she wanted this and i wasn't about to say no to taking the next step in our journey.

her house was perfect, it had three bedrooms, close to all the girls and near to the training ground.

and if my next plans go together then that house would have fitted perfectly but alessia was keen on moving so we did.

all we had to do was find a house similar to alessia's , as we both liked the style of alessia's old house, and close to arsenals training ground and the girls.

seems easy right?...

alessia had her legs draped over my lap as we looked at houses on my computer

we were currently sitting on the sofa in alessia's house.

it's no secret houses in london are expensive, even for little houses

we didn't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money on a house just because we, or should i say alessia, had the money, specially with the fact i'm not bringing any income into the house at this moment in time

it felt a little bit like alessia was buying the house for us right now, she had way more money then me and was happy to buy it for us but i wanted this to be a thing we did together, put half and half into the house but i simply couldn't afford that right now.

"less i can't afford that" i said as she pointed at the perfect house for us

it was perfect, it ticked every single box for us

near the arsenal training ground, near all the girls, had that morden style, wasn't too big but wasn't too small, had three bedrooms, had a nice sized garden.

"kai just let me pay for most of it" alessia said, giving me a petty look

my hand that was rubbing up and down alessia's leg stopped

it's embarrassing, knowing that she could afford this house and i couldn't.

i was supposed to be looking after her, caring for her and treating her but here i was saying no to our dream house because i couldn't simply even pay half of what the house costed

"i think i might go home less, come back tomorrow and sort it out" i said pushing her legs off my lap and standing up, alessia standing up quickly after me

"come on kai don't do that" less sighed

"don't do what!" i snapped

"look i'm going home, we will talk tomorrow" i added as i walked to the door

less pulled my arm making me turn and face her just as i was about to leave her house

she leaned up and pressed a kiss against my lips
