chapter 20: meeting the fans

kai and i were walking around londons streets, after having a nice breakfast we decided to look around the shops.

kai had her arm wrapped around my shoulder as we walked, my hand going up to her hand and holding onto her middle and ring finger.

kai was explaining something before stopping, stopping her walking and conversation.

i looked at her confusingly, her eyes looking over at the other side of the street.

"kai what's wrong?" i asked as her eyes remained on the other side of the street.

she let go off me and started to jog over to the other side of the road before turning into a sprint.

it all made sense now.

she was chasing after a man who had someone's purse in his hands

i watched as she wrapped her foot around the man's legs and tripped him before bending down and putting pressure onto his back so he couldn't move.

she took the bag off him and start to shout at him.

i guess her military instincts kicked in.

no one else was willing to do what she just did.

eventually she let the man go as i crossed the street, knowing that he probably wasn't gonna get any chargers as kai took it into her own hands and took the bag off him so therefore he wasn't caught in the act and we had nothing to prove he was guilty.

she walked over to the old lady, who's bag it belonged to, and pulled her into a hug

"oh thank you dear" the old lady said as i walked up to them

"no worries" kai smiled down at the lady making my heart warm.

stuff like that, showing she was a gentlewomen, made my heart burst with pride and love.

how did i get so lucky with this girl?

eventually those two stopped their conversation and parted ways, kai wrapping her arm back around me and acting as if she hadn't just done that.

i smiled lovingly up at her, she leaning down and pressing her lips against mine.

god did i love her.

kai was sat on the sofa, laying completely on it, back laying against the sofa,and resting her head on her hands as she watched me do jobs around the house.

"enjoying the view" i teased as i cleaned up the living room

"very muchly" she teased back making me playfully roll my eyes

"you just sit down and relax ay" i teased as i shut one of the table drawers

"thank you very much" kai grinned

"do you want some more help?" kai asked seriously as i was walking out of the room

i turned around and walked over to her, laying down on her as i looked up at her

"no you just relax, recently you haven't let me lift a finger... think it's about time i do the same for you" i said softly as i leaned up and pressed my lips against hers

"you sure?" she asked again

"positive" i smiled back at her, pressing another kiss to her lips before slowly getting off her and continuing the jobs that needed to be done round the house.
