chapter 22: not solved

leah and jen had left for a couple of hours, giving kai and i the chance to sit down and talk about what happened.

i was stood in the kitchen, cleaning some of the dishes from breakfast when i felt kai wrap her arms around my waist and pull my body into hers

"hey" i said softly as i looked up at her

kai leaned down and pressed a kiss against my forehead

"shall we talk about what happened?" she mumbled against my forehead

i nodded my head and placed down the last dish i needed to wash and we made our way over to the sofa in the villa

"less what happened? all i got was three messages between you and leah with no real explanation" kai said

"right your going to be shocked with what i say but please don't freak out okay" i said, wanting to keep kai calm through this whole thing

kai nodded her head as i started to explain

"so a few days after you left some of the girls came over, becca there as well" kais head snapping up and looking me directly in the eyes at her name

she didn't but in and let me finish before she said anything even though i knew ideas of what could have happened were filling her head as the seconds past

"i was up in the bedroom trying to find a hat too wear outside when someone came into the room" i paused

"that someone being becca" i said, kai letting out a sigh

"she told me to sit on the bed and out of pure fear i did that" i took a deep breath

"she then came and stood in front of me, i looked down and remembered feeling her hand on my chin lifting it up so i was looking at her standing over me" i said quietly, kais eyes moving down to her hands where she started to fiddle with them, this wasn't easy for her to hear... she was hard on herself when it came to me, i know what she was thinking in her head... thinking she had failed me, failed to protect me

"she explained how i was the one she actually wanted, how she didn't like the way you were touching and holding me before she could finish leah came into the room and becca walked out" i said

"fuck" kai whispered, i knew she found it easier with the fact it was her who becca wanted because then it meant she could just deal with all of beccas actions but now the roles were switched she was finding it hard

i placed my hand on her shoulder, her eyes meeting mine as it did so

"what are we doing about it then?" kai asked

"nothing" i said quietly

kai stood up shaking her finger at me

"no no chance, it was fine when it was me because i was the one dealing with it but now it's you it's a different story, your not going to have to go through this" kai said sternly

i stood up and walked over to her, reaching my hands up to her face, placing them just at the back of her jaw so they went over her ears and neck, placing my forehead against hers

"we weren't going to do anything for you so we arnt going to do anything for me, it's only fair" i said softly

"no i only agreed to that because i could deal with it, you can't deal with it less" kai said shaking her head against mine

i snapped, i guess with everything with becca it just all boiled over and i took it out on kai

i pushed my self away from her
