Feeling fatigued, Taehyung returns home to find the breakfast he put together for Seokjin in the morning before leaving, still untouched on the shelf for the second time this week.

He sighs at the sight of the stale breakfast intended for Seokjin, which he had woken up for a lot earlier in the morning. Taehyung leaves for his room to freshen up after a hectic day in the studio.

Upon returning in his sleepwear, he decides to discard the food neglected by Jin and opts to order takeout for dinner due to his exhaustion. Noticing Seokjin's absence since their last shared meal, Taehyung realizes that the meals he prepares for Seokjin go to waste.

Feeling a sense of unease, Taehyung approaches Seokjin's room and knocks on the door, hearing no response. Despite seeing Seokjin's shoes at the entrance, he hesitantly enters the room, only to find Seokjin laying in bed, injured, and eating chips. Curious about his condition, Taehyung questions, "What happened to you?" To which Seokjin coldly responds, "Did I give you permission to come in?"

"What happened to you? Who did this to you?" He approaches seokjin and closely examines Seokjin's injuries. "I fell while modeling yesterday," he groans, attempting to get up but fails, new tears welling up in his eyes. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"It's not like you care," Jin mutters under his breath. "How have you been managing without any help? Have you even been able to use the restroom?" Taehyung questions, helping Jin to his feet. Jin falls silent at his question.

"Alright, I'm taking you to the restroom," he lifts Jin up in his arms. "How long will these injuries take to heal?" He asks,

"A week, the doctor said. Can you wait outside? I'll let you know when I need you back here," Jin requests once they're in the restroom. "Sure, don't hesitate to call for help if you need it," Taehyung brushes the hair off Seokjin's forehead.

It takes a while for jin to muster up the courage to finally ask Taehyung to come in for help despite feeling embarrassed about his current state. That's exactly why he had been avoiding telling Taehyung about his bedridden condition and his deliberate avoidance of drinking water to prevent the need to use the bathroom.

After Taehyung helps Jin with his business, he asks, helping the omega wash his hands, "Would you like me to do your skincare?" Taehyung offered.

Jin looked up at him and replied hesitantly, "Sure if you want to." Taehyung gently placed Jin on the countertop and began the skincare routine by putting together all the products he needed.

"Alright, we start with the cleanser, correct?" Taehyung asked as he squeezed some onto his hand and massaged it onto Jin's face. He then used a damp towel to remove the residue from Jin's face. "Next is the toner, right?" Taehyung inquired, looking curiously at Jin, who was surprised that he guessed correctly. "How did you know that?" Jin asked. "I watched your nighttime skincare video once," Taehyung truthfully answered, causing Jin to laugh. "No, you didn't. Why would you watch that?"

" I was curious about the reason behind your prolonged bathroom visits before joining me in bed every night i spent at your place." He replies, tapping the toner on Jin's face. He proceeded to apply the under eye cream, his finger gently gliding beneath Jin's eyes. Their faces were in close proximity, causing Jin to wonder if Taehyung could sense the rapid beating of his heart. With a smile, he applied the moisturizer, announcing, " Alright, your skincare routine is completed. I always wanted to do this," Jin felt his heart exploding at the comment.

"Now, let's change your clothes and have something to eat, i ordered takeout for dinner," he lifted Seokjin in his arms, remarking. "I feel like a mother at this moment,"

The night continued in this manner, with Taehyung assisting Jin with his meal and then tucking him into bed. It felt both comforting and familiar to be cared for in this way by Taehyung. And for the first time in a while, Jin found himself face to face with Taehyung, the person he had fallen in love with.

It was a comforting feeling when Taehyung showed care towards him. It provided a temporary escape from the emptiness that had consumed him since his parents' passing. Coping with the loss of his parents was a difficult journey for him, especially considering he never had the chance to experience a carefree childhood with them. Many aspects of his upbringing were taken away from him because of his parent's old age, but despite that, his parents loved him a lot since he was all that they had. Taehyung became the first person to bring him genuine happiness outside of his parents' presence. The way Taehyung held him in his arms would alleviate the chaos within his mind, drowning out all the noise.

The following morning, Jin woke up with aching muscles, groaning in discomfort. He closed his eyes tightly, feeling the soreness throughout his body. "You're awake," Taehyung appeared right in front of him, causing Jin to flinch. "What's the matter with you? Why were you watching me sleep like a creep?" He pushed Taehyung away, questioning him.

" I'm currently in a rush as I have a meeting with a producer in thirty minutes. I've prepared breakfast for you, finish it all." he placed the tray in front of him, "I'll be back soon," he gently kissed Seokjin's forehead, but Seokjin wiped it away with his spare hand.

"Don't kiss my forehead," he whispered angrily.

"Alright, I won't," he leaned down to kiss Jin again, " Don't wipe it this time. I won't take too long to return, but if you need anything, just give me a call."

Taehyung's actions left Jin perplexed. A part of him wanted to believe that Taehyung's intentions were genuine, but his insecurities about their relationship prevented him from fully trusting it. It saddened him that his work had to be put on hold due to this accident. He couldn't comprehend how exactly he fell; he was cautious while coming down the stairs. It almost felt as if someone deliberately pushed him, but he was too focused on the pain at that moment to notice anything or anyone around him.

After eating breakfast, he spent the majority of his day glued to his phone, absentmindedly scrolling and doing nothing. Until he couldn't ignore the to use the restroom and freshen up any longer. Despite Taehyung's promise to return early, several hours had already passed. Disregarding his inner voice, cautioning him against making the call, he proceeded to dial Taehyung's number. "Are you alright?" He heard the alpa question, the first thing as he picked up his call. "Yes, when will you be back?" he asks.

"The meeting is over, but I'm tied up at the studio. It may take a while. Is there something urgent?" Taehyung questioned.

Jin clenched his teeth, "No, I was just checking in, goodbye."

After ending the call, he silently expressed relief that he didn't stumble over his words. "Why did I drink so much water," he curses himself, trying to get himself up to no avail. He remained on the bed until he heard the sound of the door being unlocked. Assuming it was Taehyung, as no one else had access, he smiled. It only took a single call for Taehyung to abandon everything and rush to his side.

His happiness was short-lived as the door to his room swung open, revealing the omega Taehyung was seen with in the news the day after they mated. The person he had forgotten about amidst all of the choas. Confusion filled his gaze as he stared at the omega.

"Hello," the younger omega nervously greeted Jin, bowing, " Taehyung asked his manager to assist you, but since hyung was occupied, he sent me instead," the omega explained. Jin observed the omega's delicate and slender frame, fair complexion, and thick hair, contrasting with his own miserable appearance.

"I don't require any help, you may leave," Jin said, avoiding direct eye contact with the omega.

"But I don't believe I should -" she tries to say but is cut off by Jin.

"I'm telling you to leave," Jin asserted, unable to contain his anger, picking up a glass and hurling it in her direction. The sudden dominance undeniably frightened the younger omega, who hastily exited the room. She had merely been instructed to help Jin.
