"Your career and this company have to be a joke for you to be out there ruining your image and breaking the contract," the CEO slammed a file on the table, his face red with anger.

Taehyung didn't flinch. He had already made up his mind. For better or worse, he would choose Jin. "What do you wish for me to do? The public supports me, especially international fans. From what I've seen, my image isn't ruined, nor is Seokjin being threatened."

"I wish you would shut up for once, Taehyung. I've put too much effort and money into your career for you to be setting it on fire," the beta exclaimed angrily. "Well, I guess it ends here. I'll pay whatever the cost adds up to for breaking the contract, but you'll have to put up with it for one more year because of the contract."

"Who said you're leaving? I don't allow you to, Taehyung. We will announce your relationship with Seokjin. Just keep it private, and especially avoid fighting or growling at people in public. For two weeks, go into hiding. I don't want to see you on anyone's timeline until then."

Taehyung stifled a laugh. He had the old man right in his palms. Of course, he wouldn't throw out someone who generates as much revenue as he does.

"I'm planning on visiting Daegu with Jin. Just don't announce the news before I introduce him to my mother. She'll be devastated to find out through the internet. Anyway, see you soon."

He heard the beta let out a tired sigh. "Fucking brat, ordering me as if he's the boss," he yelled at Taehyung, who walked out of the office with a smirk plastered on his face.

Taehyung finally sighed as he came out of the CEO's office. He was aware that things wouldn't be the same anymore, especially now that he had decided to come clean about his relationship with Jin. But this was the last hurdle he had to jump over to fully convince himself of what's to come. He drove home and picked up snacks to bring to the movie night with them.

When he arrived home, he didn't find Seokjin in his room. He rang the omega up multiple times. "He said he'd be home," he muttered to himself. He paced quietly around the room, ignoring the group chat's notifications going off, knowing they were surely waiting for them. Just as he was about to text everyone that he wouldn't be coming, he sensed Jin walking in. "Where did you go?"

"Nowhere," Jin cleared his throat, hiding his face from Taehyung.

"You can't lie to save your life. Look into my eyes and tell me," Taehyung demanded. Jin rolled his eyes and walked inside, ignoring him.

"I told you about movie night," he reminded the omega, walking closely behind him. "They're all waiting for us."

Jin abruptly turned around and snapped, "Leave me alone."

"You said you'd go," Taehyung huffed, certain Seokjin was hiding something. Unable to keep his composure any longer, he walked up to Seokjin, held his face, and sniffed. "Did you drink or smoke?"

"Taehyung," Jin pulled away, "stop this, leave me alone."

Instead, Taehyung held his hand. "How about you come to the movie night you agreed to?" He dragged Seokjin out, grabbing the snacks on the way.

As they sat down in the car, Taehyung took out the peanuts he got for Seokjin and handed them to him. "Here, your favorite."

"We shouldn't be seen out so casually in public, Taehyung," Jin said, making Taehyung turn around and look at him.

"I've told my company about us, so don't worry. But I need you to tell me, Seokjin, if anything is bothering you. I'll deal with it. There's no need to be scared, okay?"

Jin avoided looking into Taehyung's eyes again. "Just drive already."

When they arrived, everyone had already started the movie. They paused it to greet them. "We really thought you guys wouldn't make it," said Jimin as he squeezed Jin in his hold. "Thank you for coming."
