Note: I wanted to give a warning regarding this fic. It'll contain disturbing themes like eating disorders, addiction ( alcohol/smoking), and miscarriage as well. It's heavy angst, so if that's not your cup of tea, then don't continue reading it. Thankyou!! :)

Taehyung had made the decision to join his friends this time, but as expected, Jin was nowhere to be found. It had been a week since anyone had seen the omega in public, and there had been no sign of him online either. He hadn't participated in the group chat either, and Taehyung couldn't help but take note of it all, despite claiming not to have any romantic feelings for Seokjin.

"We're really glad you decided to join us this time. We've missed having you around," Yoongi, who rarely spoke up, expressed to Taehyung. "If there's anything weighing on your mind, you know you can come to us instead of shutting us out," Namjoon added, his tone gentle yet concerned.

Surely Taehyung had missed his friends too. They had been through so much together. Suddenly, he regretted ignoring them, especially Jungkook, who had always been closest to him and had been ignoring him lately.

"I'm sorry, guys. I've just been really busy with this album I've been working on. I hardly make time for anything these days, but I'll definitely keep you guys updated," Taehyung apologized, his voice tinged with sincerity.

"Alright, let's move on and enjoy the night," Hoseok chimed in cheerfully, trying to lighten the mood. Taehyung made his way over to sit next to Jungkook, nudging the younger man's shoulder gently.

"I missed you," Taehyung admitted softly, hoping to mend things between them,

"If you had, then you would have texted me back, Taehyung. It's been going on for too long now. Just fuck off, okay? Leave me alone," Jungkook snapped, his frustration evident as he clenched his teeth. He felt Jimin's comforting hand reach out to hold his own,

"Taehyung, maybe it's best to give him some space," Jimin suggested, trying to diffuse the tension.

"I'm sorry," Taehyung responded defensively. "I've just been really busy with work."

With that, the conversation between them halted, and an awkward silence settled between them. Everyone else continued chatting, occasionally making efforts to include Taehyung in the conversation.

"I wish Jin had joined us too. Has anyone heard from him? I haven't since the last time we saw him. He hasn't even been active in the group chat," Hoseok remarked, drawing Taehyung's attention.

"None of us have heard from him. He tends to go off the grid like that sometimes," Jungkook added, trying to reason,

"Did you guys see the behind-the-scenes clips of his recent photoshoot? Mingyu is one hot alpha. I hope he and Jin hit it off," Hoseok continued, oblivious to the tension his words were causing.

Taehyung felt a surge of possessiveness rise within him. He fought the urge to growl, instead focusing on the shot glass in his hand. It was normal for Jin to ignore the group, but it was unusual for him to ignore Taehyung. He had been ignoring the alpha's attempts to reach out, and it bothered him more than he cared to admit.

Namjoon had been quietly observing Taehyung, noticing how tense he seemed. "Calm down," Jungkook asserts, trying to lighten the mood. "Your pheromones are suffocating us."

Taehyung waited for a few more minutes before finally standing up. "I have to go," he announced, a hint of desperation in his voice. "I'm sorry I can't stick around longer. Let's meet again this week, please," he pleaded with his friends, feeling that they were  disappointed.

"Yeah, he expects us to drop everything for him whenever he wants," Jungkook remarked sarcastically, a hint of bitterness in his tone. Taehyung took a deep breath, realizing there was no point in causing a scene.

"I'll reach out to all of you. Whenever you're free, let me know, and I'll come around," Taehyung promised, directing his words especially towards Jungkook. "It's okay," Namjoon reassured him.

"Good night," they all waved at Taehyung as he left,

After leaving the bar, Taehyung hailed a taxi and headed straight to Jin's apartment. How could the omega ignore him for over a week like this? Arriving at Jin's door, he rang the bell repeatedly, growing increasingly frustrated when no one answered. Pacing back and forth in the corridor, he muttered to himself, "it must be some sort of joke,"

Finally giving up on getting a response, Taehyung entered the passcode to Jin's apartment. As he stepped inside, he noticed that all the lights were off. Switching on a few lights, he spotted Jin sleeping on the couch, surrounded by empty alcohol bottles and sleeping pills on the table. Audibly sighing, Taehyung realized that this was exactly where he had left the omega.

Approaching Jin, Taehyung gently woke him up. "Get up," he urged, lightly slapping Jin's face. Seeing the omega in such a fragile state, Taehyung could tell that Jin hadn't eaten for a long time. Pouring some water into a glass, he made Jin drink it, relieved when Jin finally stirred awake.

Upon noticing Taehyung, Jin tried to sit up straight. "Have you lost your mind?" he yelled at Jin, his voice filled with frustration and concern. "I can't believe you," he added,

Jin rubbed his face and then hid it, trying to shield himself from Taehyung's gaze. "So this is how you'll get attention from me now? Is this some kind of joke to you?" he asked, his voice strained with frustration.

Ignoring the dizziness swirling in his head, Jin stood up and faced Taehyung. "Leave," he demanded, his voice hoarse with emotion. "I'm not doing this for your attention or anyone else's. Just leave now."

Taehyung disregarded Jin's request and went to the kitchen. He grabbed some salt and added a lot of it to a glass of water. "Drink this," he commanded Jin, who recoiled and turned away. "I'm telling you, Jin, drink this, or I'll make you," he threatened the omega.

Despite Jin's resistance, Taehyung knew he had to make him drink the salt water to help him. He forced Jin to submit, ensuring he drank the mixture. As expected after drinking it, Jin rushed to the toilet to vomit, expelling all the alcohol from his stomach.

"Alright, that's good. Now, I'll give you a bath. Don't make it any harder for me than it already is," Taehyung said, his voice softer now as he removed Jin's robe and began washing him. "You've lost your mind," he whispered to Jin, who stared blankly into the distance, lost in his own thoughts.

After washing Jin, Taehyung dressed him in a hoodie and sweatpants, knowing full well that the omega must not have eaten a single bite of food which is why his body is colder than it normally should be.

"I've ordered food for you, and you're going to eat it all, slowly. And Seokjin, if you try to puke it out, I swear to God you'll see the worst of me," Taehyung's voice was almost a growl as he spoke to Jin. Jin looked away, feeling a mixture of fear and defiance.

Grasping Jin's arm firmly, Taehyung guided him to the dining table where the food awaited. The sight of it made bile rise in Jin's throat. "Eat," Taehyung instructed,

"Stop it! Stop yelling at me!" Jin screamed back, his voice trembling. "Just leave me alone, please," he pleaded, his voice growing quieter.

"I need you to eat, please," Taehyung softened his demeanor, understanding Jin's situation. He took a gentler approach and began feeding Jin himself. "I won't yell anymore," he promised.

Wiping the tears from his face, Jin reluctantly began to eat, though each bite felt like a struggle to him. "I'm full," he finally protested, stopping Taehyung from feeding him further. "Thank you. You can leave now."

As Jin rose from the chair, Taehyung noticed that he had hardly taken five bites. "Why are you pushing me away?" Taehyung asked, Jin let out a quiet laugh, realizing how quickly the table had turned within just a week.
