The bar is noisy, too noisy for Jin. Despite the fact that being surrounded by noise is a part of his career, he's still not accustomed to it. Today, he is out with his friends, not exactly his thoughts. He chuckles at the thought. He watches them take shots after shots,

" Why does Taehyung keep refusing to join us? It's ridiculous. The other day, he was out with his other friend group, yet he could not make time for us," jimin complains and everybody else nod in agreement, " it's been over a year since he has been doing this, i wonder if he doesn't wants to be friends with us anymore," jungkook adds sounding a little bummed,

Namjoon takes a glance at Jin, " Guys, he must be busy, alright? Give him a break. I'll ask him to join us next weekend, don't jump to conclusions,"

Jin couldn't shake off the nagging realization of why Taehyung had been avoiding their group of friends. It all traced back to their collaboration on an ad almost a year prior. Initially, everything had been smooth sailing between them; Taehyung even joyously introduced Jin to his circle of friends.

In no time, they embraced Jin as one of their own, welcoming him into their group. It quickly became routine, a regular pattern to hang out with them. Yet, barely two months into their friendship, Jin noticed Taehyung growing distant. He understood the reason all too well. It stemmed from the unspoken tensions of the relationship they both shared. Though Taehyung never explicitly voiced his desire for Jin to distance himself from their group, his behavior spoke volumes. He didn't appreciate Jin hanging out with his friends.

Perhaps, if Jin refrained from joining them next week, Taehyung might find his way back to their social circle.

"So, same place and time this weekend, everyone. No last-minute cancellations, okay?" Hoseok's reminder echoed through the group. "Jin, you're free this time, right?" he directed his question at Jin with a hopeful glance.

Jin paused for a moment, contemplating his response. Clearing his throat, he finally spoke up, "Actually, I can't make it. I'll be out of town," he explained.

"Oh, well, we can change our plans—" Hoseok started to suggest, but Jin interrupted him, shaking his head. "No, don't," he said firmly, "it's okay, go on without me. Especially if Taehyung decides to join you." Despite his words, anyone could see the slight hesitation in Jin's eyes, but his friends offered him understanding smiles nonetheless. "Alright," Hoseok acquiesced.

The sound of glasses clinking filled the air once more as they raised a toast and continued drinking. Even though Jin took a few shots, he remained sober. Thanks to Taehyung's influence, he had developed a higher tolerance for alcohol, finding a solace in this habit.

As the night wore on, one by one, they began to drift off, submitting to the effects of alcohol. Namjoon, who had abstained from drinking, took responsibility, helping everyone into taxis as Jin lingered on the sidewalk, lost in his thoughts.

"Do you want me to drop you back?" Namjoon offered, his words carrying a silent understanding.

Jin hesitated, torn between the implications of accepting the offer and the lingering absence of Taehyung, who had been unreachable for the past two weeks. Reluctantly, Jin nodded. It was comfortable for him to be around namjoon's alpha.

The car ride passed mostly in silence, the faint hum of the radio filling the background noise. Namjoon broke the silence, "Are you okay?" He asked, voice laced with concern,

Jin nodded, offering a faint smile, "Yes, I'm fine. And thank you for the ride," he replied, instinctively putting up a wall. It was necessary, of course. Taehyung's friends couldn't know the true nature of their relationship.

The car pulled to a stop in front of Jin's apartment complex, and Namjoon, the epitome of chivalry, got off the car to open the door for him and offer a helping hand. "Do you need me to walk you upstairs?" Namjoon inquired.

"No, I'll manage," Jin declined politely, withdrawing his hand from Namjoon's. "Drive safely," he added as Namjoon quietly returned to the driver's seat,

As Jin watched the car disappear, he felt the weight of exhaustion settle upon him. His eyelids drooped heavily, mostly because he was tired. It had been a long day

However, before he could fully retreat into his thoughts, a voice burst his thought bubble. Jin's heart skipped a beat at the sight of Taehyung, his lips parting to respond, but he swallowed the words, his gaze flickering away. "Why did you choose now to show up?" Jin questioned, his tone guarded as he turned to head back inside.

"I felt it was time to remind you of your place, and it seems I wasn't mistaken," Taehyung remarked, drawing Jin closer to him. He pressed himself against Jin, noting the omega's arousal with a chuckle. "So soon, we haven't even started?" Taehyung teased, pulling away from Jin.

Jin audibly sighed as he retrieved the apartment key from his purse and unlocked the door, ushering them both inside. "You disappeared for two weeks. I called and messaged you every day, but you deliberately ignored me," Jin accused, his voice tinged with hurt.

"So what? I didn't want to see you. Do I have to keep you informed about every move of mine? You always confuse our relationship. We're just using each other to get off, nothing more," Taehyung's tone remained indifferent, shattering Jin's heart. The scent of arousal had faded, replaced by the usual dull scent, Jin adorned now.

"You use me to get off, but I don't," Jin muttered under his breath as he made his way to the kitchen and poured himself a drink.

"You smell like alcohol, and you're ruining the mood," Taehyung remarked. He wasn't a fan of Jin reeking of alcohol.

"Go hang out with your friends next weekend, Taehyung. They miss you," Jin spoke, choosing to ignore Taehyung's earlier comment. "And spare me the sight of your face outside of the bedroom. I'll pass." The alph responds,

Jin fought to hold back his tears, refusing to let them fall in front of the alpha. "I won't be joining, so don't worry about seeing my face," he replied with forced nonchalance,

Taehyung pulled Jin into a kiss, interrupting any further conversation. "If you're done being sappy, can we get down to business? I'm beyond frustrated. I need to get off this instant," Taehyung muttered between kisses, his breath mingling with Jin's as he bit the omega's lips, hard enough to ensure they'll bleed,

"Take a taxi. Don't accept rides from other alphas," Taehyung whispered under his breath, his audacity almost laughable to Jin. Yet, he wasn't surprised by Taehyung's behavior. This was the he had willingly subjected himself into.

With deft hands, Taehyung unbuttoned Jin's shirt and removed his pants, guiding him to bend over the sofa. Jin squirmed under Taehyung's grasp, knowing full well that Taehyung was undressing himself too. He felt Taehyung's hand grip his hair from behind, Jin closed his eyes shut tightly, anticipating what was to come now, and let out a breathy moan as Taehyung entered him,

right he missed this.
